Gun control advocates are in hysterics, using frenzied, emotional attacks against Senators who opposed gun control last month in hopes of changing the momentum.
This explains why Senator Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) has been targeted in New Hampshire, and it's why Gabby Giffords and her husband Mark Kelly have been targeting Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) in Kentucky.
Staunch gun control supporters saw Sandy Hook Elementary as their opportunity to secure more gun laws, but now they see that opportunity fading away....

True enough, but you are a man who possesses a wide range of skills. Most people are less capable.
If I may make an analogy -- I do not have a lot of artistic skill, but using my simple laserjet printer, I can print a copy of da Vinci's "Mona Lisa". I push the button, and there she is.
With a 3-D printer, any schmuck can push a button have a gun. That's a gamechanger.

True. It will be a game changer. But only in scope.
The ability is out there. I'm just a friggin cook. I've got an uncle who is a genius on machine tools.
They can whine, they can complain, but they really, really can't ever stop it once the knowledge is out there.
In the long run, I think truth and freedom will win.

As we all know, SCOTUS has made it clear in Heller and then McDonald that the 2nd Amendment is an individual right. What pisses me off to no end is that the lower courts promptly read those cases as narrowly as possible (few exceptions) and the high court doesn't seem to care. My suspicion is that we have 4 ardent supporters of the 2A, but they don't want to hear appeals of bad decisions for fear that Kennedy will wander off the reservation. And I can say without a doubt they don't wont to be deciding things like magazine capacity and "assault weapons". But if this were an "abortion right" being messed with- whoa they would be all over it with injunctions and prompt slap downs from the bench. The result is that we have to pray that our five hang on and a Republican wins in '16 and makes a good appointment before the nitty gritty of the 2A gets examined. That's the legal side though. Where we need to watch close is the dynamics between the states and the federal government. It might be too late for states to exert defiance and the right to protect its citizens from an overbearing federal government. A little bravery can go a long ways. We must use the House to cut off the funds to prevent the left from creating what amounts to an illegal standing army through the DHS. I've been yelling this at my mediocre GOP rep for months now about the massive ammo orders by DHS and so forth. It looks like they are finally starting to at least ask some questions. But I have very little faith in them. At the end of the day we will vote with our feet and die with our boots on I suppose. Being placed in a reeducation camp or slavery isn't an option. That's where this country is headed. Straight from dependence right into bondage. My hope is in The Lord.

They can only hope for another mass shooting. Hell, they've probably already planned the next one.

There is no such thing as a “gun control advocate” just like there are no “moderate muslims”, there are only hysterical radicals with no reasoned argument who are willing to let people be slaves or die to reach their goal.

The antis have recently started running attack ads in New Hampshire going after Ayotte on his vote.
Sort of “man (and woman) in the street” fakes, featuring a series of extremely pathetic-looking arscholes relating why they don’t like Ayotte for his principled stance.
Very sad business. The *ssclowns featured all look like they just wandered in off the commune looking for someplace to wash up.

I think SCOTUS is in a precarious state of affairs right now.
There’s no margin of error whatsoever when you have four justices that don’t even recognize the 2A.
Then factor in the whims of Kennedy and the potential for a stab in the back from Roberts and you have a court that doesn’t want to hear these cases. Once it’s decided badly it is much harder to deal with later.

Hard to say with certainty, but probably a ninety-five percent chance.
Strangely, the anti-Ayotte spots are playing in Massachusetts, too.

Gun control may be shut down at the federal level, but many of the states are killing us. Delaware

The people need to keep the momentum for the next election and do some house cleaning.

Guess the Democrats will need another “crisis” or two not to “allow to go to waste” before the American people “see the light”.
