5. Sarah Palin is not someone who can be a consensus builder. Sarah Palin is so extreme in her views and sees in black and white. She is right and everyone else with the opposing view is wrong. There's no way somebody this extreme should be Vice President of the United States as VP is someone who should be able to build consensus when the President is unable to.

What liberals fear above all else is to have theories tested in the marketplace of ideas. Where they always fail. Many libs, like Cassandra Jones, are actually anti-reality Luddites. Her criticisms, along with most one stream media political commentary today, reminds me of something Mark Steyn said comparing Roger Ebert with Pauline Kael during an interview with Hugh Hewitt:

...he had, in a way that most movie critics whose criticism doesn’t stand up, and I include famous ones like Pauline Kael in that. Pauline Kael was a huge cultural influence 40 years ago, and if you read her stuff in the New Yorker now, most of it is obsolescent gibberish.
