5. Sarah Palin is not someone who can be a consensus builder. Sarah Palin is so extreme in her views and sees in black and white. She is right and everyone else with the opposing view is wrong. There's no way somebody this extreme should be Vice President of the United States as VP is someone who should be able to build consensus when the President is unable to.Consensus: The process of abandoning all beliefs, principles, values, and policies in search of something in which no one believes, but to which no one objects; the process of avoiding the very issues that have to be solved, merely because you cannot get agreement on the way ahead. What great cause would have been fought and won under the banner: I stand for consensus?~~~Margaret Thatcher
Consensus is the total and complete lack of leadership~~BerryDingle

Barf alert needed.
Why even bother posting this ‘old’ hit piece. Plenty of current hit pieces we can attach barf alerts to.

What liberals fear above all else is to have theories tested in the marketplace of ideas. Where they always fail. Many libs, like Cassandra Jones, are actually anti-reality Luddites. They’re the ones who fervently believe people can live in some kind of hippie world where the living is easy and wind, solar, and new age energy sources are just waiting to take the place of the fossil fuels. The truth is far different, and the Cassandra Jones of the world are out to lunch.

These are typical liberal attacks that lack any context to justify them.
Extreme Christian Right-winger, Who is Pro-life, Pro-gun, Pro-drilling in Alaska and Who Doesn't Believe in Global Warming.
And because of that she's "anti-woman", "anti-environment", and has a "small mind". So for liberals, anyone who's opinion differs from theirs means they can apply any slander they want.

Her criticisms, along with most one stream media political commentary today, reminds me of something Mark Steyn said comparing Roger Ebert with Pauline Kael during an interview with Hugh Hewitt:
...he had, in a way that most movie critics whose criticism doesnt stand up, and I include famous ones like Pauline Kael in that. Pauline Kael was a huge cultural influence 40 years ago, and if you read her stuff in the New Yorker now, most of it is obsolescent gibberish. And Eberts sense of what worked and what didnt work actually was pretty solid.
And there it is: "obsolescent gibberish"
When the future looks back on us, they will see "Obsolescent Gibberish" as far as the eye can see, masquerading as intelligent commentary, political ideology, economic theory and as a way of life here in Amerika.
