The issue isn’t so much what kind of conservative he was. Traitors can always appear to be right in line till the moment of truth. Fate put the Gov. Christie in a position to thank the president and all those helping NJ recover from the hurricane but he used it to give Obama a Gov Crist size hug and claimed he did something that he didn’t and threw the election to the Rats. He has as much future in the Republican Party as the other judas, Charlie Crist.

Yes. This is absolutely right. However one feels about whether a handful of conservative sentiments expressed against the outrageous demands of NEA thugs, or a complaint that New Jersey's legislature ought to be thinking about occasional tax cuts (hardly cutting edge given where NJ is in terms of tax-burden) actually qualify one as a conservative, the simple fact is that I would not vote for Crispy Creme now even if he was Ronald Reagan. Hell, even if he were James Madison.

He's a traitorous piece of crap, and he deserves to stay in New Jersey for the rest of his career.
