For decades, the annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) has been a barometer of the different political tendencies inside the right-wing. In the 1980s, Reagan administration officials and Reaganite New Rightists dominated the podium. Pres. Reagan spoke at CPAC in both 1984 and 1988. In the 1990s, culture warriors like Pat Buchanan and the Rev. Pat Robertson joined Republican regulars such as Sens. Bob Dole and Phil Gramm. At this years CPAC13, Tea Party leaders and Tea Party-supported politicians will dominate the proceedings. The result is an agenda filled with bigots, conspiracy mongers, and publicity hounds.
Consider the inclusion of publicity-seekers such as Gov. Sarah Palin and Donald Trump, and Tea Party water carriers like Sens. Rand Paul and Ted Cruz. The exclusion of popular GOP figures like Gov. Chris Christie and Gov. Bob McDonnell is one sign that Tea Party politics holds sway. Another is the exclusion of LGBT Republican groups like GOProud and the Log Cabin Republicans. A more exacting gauge of Tea Party influence is revealed, however, in the CPAC conference sponsors and workshops. Tea Party and Tea Party-aligned groups make up a sizable majority of the partners and sponsors for the event, and a big percentage of the co-sponsors and exhibitors. Four different Tea Party national networks have a presence.
Tea Party Patriots has the biggest footprint. It is listed as one of nine official CPAC 13 top-level partners (a $50,000 + contribution level). Co-founder Jenny Beth Martin will be busy speaking, signing books, introducing movies, and much more. Tea Party Patriots is also, like a Trojan horse, bringing ideas and personalities long cast out to the margins, back into respectable conservative circles through the workshops....

Oh good grief, they put Donald Trump in with the list as though the only thing he knows about Tea is how to take it via eminent domain.
I learned in 2013 in High School that the Tea Party in Boston in the 1700’s was a terrorist act...
Seriously?
I learned in 2013 IN HIGH SCHOOL that the Tea Party in Boston in the 1700s was a terrorist act...
ok now that’s better.
yeah, do some searches, some schools are teaching that the Boston Tea Party was a “terrorist act” and not a “patriotic event”. the goal is to condition kids against anything “tea party’.

when they change the name of this event to the LPAC, the left can be happy about it.
Until then, they can go shove the tea bags they always talk about up their six o’clock.
“Kiss Me Messiah Barack, Kiss Me”....
Grover Norquists troubling ties to Islamic supremacists and jihadists have been known for years. He and his Palestinian wife, Samah Alrayyes, are very active in Muslim outreach. Just six weeks after 9/11, Norquist arranged for George W. Bush to meet with fifteen Islamic supremacists at the White House on September 26, 2001 .
Frank Gaffney prepared a dossier on Norquist and Suhail Khan, The article is titled A Jihadist in the Heart of the Conservative Movement.
LOL
THERE IS (( no )) RIGHT-WING?.. if there were I would join it.. Can't find one.. america has been pretty much brain washed.. even non leftists mostly lean left..
Social Security (( IS )) socialism.. not like socialism it is actually PURE socialism..
He looks related to William Rivers Pitt...
Speaking of Grover Norquist...he and his henchmen have taken over, or are trying to take over the Tea Party Label for their own profits. Tea Party Patriots seems not to be part of the scam, but look out for teaparty.net & tea party news network (TPNN)...it’s a SCAM!

All Tea Party groups are NOT created equal! BEWARE!
By now conservatives ought to know they will be used by a bunch of political hacks at any opportunity, just like the left deceives blacks, hispanics, women. I know some of us would like to actually know who and what we are supporting. Well, there is a ‘Tea Party’ group out there, who, in my opinion, is only in the game to fund raise and line their pockets and support some people who simply are NOT what the grass roots of the ‘Tea Party’ believe in.
Beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing, people!
From what I can find out about the principal players in TheTeaparty.net and The Tea Party News Network and their political action committee Western Representation PAC, they are TOO closely aligned with Grover Norquist to ever be considered as part of ‘The Tea Party”. Amnesty, which Norquist has always favored, is a subject I cannot find addressed in any of their publications. But, one of their principals, a ‘community organizer’ by the name of Dustin Stockton penned this last year:
“Amidst all the red-meat speeches at CPAC, Grover Norquists address stood out for me. Dont get me wrong: I love to get fired up by a great speaker as much as anyone else , but the real opportunity at gatherings like CPAC is to share strategy and figure out how to win. Grovers speech had hardly any big applause lines, but for my money, it was one of the most informative speeches at the conference. If you want an overview of the entire American political system, and how conservatives can take it back, in less than half an hour, Grovers your guy. Do yourself and our movement a favor and take a look. Youre sure to learn a thing or two I know I did!”
We conservatives had better ‘learn a thing or two’ and do it fast! Recently we wrote how blogger Robert Spencer, who won the vote for best blogger at CPAC, was told by this same ‘tea party’ group he could accept the award IF he did not discuss Norquist or his radical Islam associates. It appears that CPAC is now just another subsidiary of Grover Norquist and he is the head guru of the hijacked ‘tea party’ group, teaparty.net and Tea Party News Network.
Now, if you don’t know who Grover Norquist is, and what he really stands for, you better find out or stay away from the voting booth, because he is no conservative. He wrote the Bush/McCain Amnesty. Yes, he talks the good game of no new taxes, less spending and he does it all for GROVER, and for the likes of Karl Rove. Where you find one, you usually find the other. Rove brought Grover into the Bush White House who brought in all his radical Islam associates along with Jack Abramoff. Do remember that Rove heads pacs to oust Tea Party candidates, but contributes 4 million dollars to Norquist!
“Karl Rove has founded a new group designed not to beat Democrats, but to destroy a wing of his own coalition: the Tea Party. The newly-formed Conservative Victory Project, an “offshoot” of Rove’s American Crossroads super PAC, is designed to pump big money into local congressional primaries and prevent Tea Party-endorsed candidates from scoring Senate nominations.”
They can’t have it both ways...be FOR the Tea Party, but against the candidates and policies the grass roots Tea Party stands for. Conservatives!!! You need to spend more time cleaning out your own ranks instead of trying to take down the democrats. You’re being destroyed from within!

Update:
Open Secrets mentions that TeaParty.net administrative costs for 2012 were $27, 391. Not an outrageous amount, to be sure, unless you count the fact that they or The Tea Party News Network only have ‘virtual’ offices’ at $149.00 a month. Both entities (we don’t know how many more yet) use the same ‘office’....How convenient!
