Don’t. It hurts.

Instead, accept that by supporting people like this (voting for their employers) you get more of it. ‘s simple math that an absurd number of ‘conservatives’ refuse to admit.

Sure, it makes them look like fools, but they cling bitterly to failed ideas and liberal candidates thinking they will get religion and govern conservatively...REAL SOON NOW!

Simple fact: With elections as in govt. economics, you get more of the things you subsidize.

In the weeks leading up to November 6th (a day which will live in infamy) I had one conservative enthusiastically say to me, "Romney might have some liberal tendencies, but we're gonna hold his feet to the fire!"

I looked at him incredulously and asked, "Just how are we going to do that?" He couldn't answer me.

In that moment I saw the realization on his face, that what really mattered, was what the man was made of. Once he was elected, there'd be little to nothing we could do about the direction of his agenda, which we both knew would skew to the left.

Despite the fact that you and I were drawn and quartered around here for standing with our principles and vociferously rejecting the liberal Republican candidate, we were right. As I said at the time, a person's honor and integrity are worth more than an election win, when the candidate on our side is a Democrat In All But Label Only (DIABLO).
