WASHINGTON – A Florida congresswoman on Tuesday introduced a resolution honoring Trayvon Martin, the Florida teen whose slaying a year ago this month stirred national controversy.
Rep. Frederica Wilson, a South Florida Democrat, introduced a resolution “honoring the life of Trayvon Martin, urging the repeal of Stand Your Ground laws, and calling on the United States government to address the crisis of racial profiling,” according to a statement from her office.
“Today, Trayvon Martin would have celebrated his 18th birthday,” the statement read. “We all know the tragic circumstances surrounding his murder: Trayvon was racially profiled, chased, made to fight for his life, and ultimately murdered. Yet we as a nation have yet to take substantive action to stop such a heartbreaking incident from happening again. Enough is enough: We as a nation have buried too many young black boys. Let’s set Congress on course to address the underlying causes behind the crisis that Trayvon’s death symbolizes. Let’s take action to stop racial profiling and give our people a chance to succeed.”

We should have biographical sketches commemorating the life of the child who tragically was struck down in the very flower of his budding success
Almost nothing of what the honorable Congresswoman said was true. Trayvon was the AGGRESSOR, not the victim, and he strode confidently into a confrontation that ended badly for him.
The difficulty seems to be that Trayvor was unaware, right up until the point of the barrel of the weapon was thrust against his chest, that the person he was banging up and down on the concrete sidewalk was armed.
It must have been an “Oh, $#!+!” moment for him.
Elected by tribal parasites, fomented hatred of whites by the State-Run-Media, while NO COMPLETE STORY has been produced LEGALLY, since the Trial has yet to take place? And we waste TAXPAYERS (not PARASITES) money for the time and government waste on this crap? How about deductions from Welfare handouts to fund her salary? Let's have those who are "Represented" actually finance her job....what payments are made by those who have NEVER contributed, but have always TAKEN, and are sending people to public office to get more handouts??????
That would be great, but those causes ain't what she thinks they are.

I'm sure some NBA or other sports talking heads will take care of that. Heck, maybe Hussein will take time from his busy schedule to do this.
Some politicians will put anything in their mouths for a vote no matter how putrid it may be. Their crack is votes and they will drop to their knees at the drop of a hat and Lewinsky whatever it takes for votes.
I agree with abolishing racial profiling.
Let’s start with affirmative action, set asides, sanctuary cities, hate crime laws, welfare, head start, food stamps, Obama phones....
Yeah, I’ll honer the criminal. Next time I go to the range I’ll put his name on a silhouette. Ooh no! That woods be insensitive and offensive! So is a resolution honoring a stupid criminal. Fine, I’ll just put “stupid thug parasite” on the target.
Why not? They gave our Communist-in-Chief the Nobel Peace prize just for being a community organizer.
