This just in: The majority of Republicans still don’t believe that President Barack Obama is from ’round these parts.
a new nationwide survey of registered voters that examines Americans’ belief in political conspiracy theories, Fairleigh Dickinson University’s PublicMind project found that 64 percent of Republicans think it’s “probably true” that President Obama is hiding important information about his background and early life.
Yes, even though the President has a memoir he released long before he became a national political figure and released his birth certificate and had his kinfolk attest to his story — ditto for the teachers, neighbors, and old classmates along the way — nope, none of that matters.
To be fair, 63 percent of Americans believe in at least one political conspiracy theory, though the others are far more common.
Other factors that have contributed to the lingering believe that Obama is secretly from Kenya? The fact that the President is constantly IMing Allah.
The researchers noted:
Generally, the more people know about current events, the less likely they are to believe in conspiracy theories — but not among Republicans, where more knowledge leads to greater belief in political conspiracies.”
Fairleigh Dickinson political scientist Dan Cassino, added:
There are several possible explanations for this. It could be that more conspiracy-minded Republicans seek out more information, or that the information some Republicans seek out just tends to reinforce these myths.

Soetoro’s mother, Stanley Ann Dunham-Soetoro, established a preponderance of the evidence standard of intent to forfeit U.S. Citizenship for Soetoro by notifiying the U.S. State Department of intent to stay in Indonesia indefinitely. And Barack Hussein Obama Soebarkah should be removed from her U.S. passport because he has naturalized in a foreign state.

Wrong. I believe Obama was a.) born in Hawaii and b.) is perfectly eligible to serve as President. This most certainly makes me *not* a birther.

why? because 0bama has NEVER OFFICIALLY submitted ANY identification documentation to ANY state
just get him to OFFICIALLY submit the paperwork... then we can proceed
of course, until he does, he could be from Korea... and without any documentation OFFICIALLY SUBMITTED saying otherwise, you can’t say he isn’t without perpetuating the fraud yourself
Since I believe Obama is eligible to run for the Presidency, I’m not a birther. However, I have a lot of questions about his early life, on up thru when he left college. And no, his fantasies recorded in his books are NOT something I’d rely on...
Why do you have questions about his early life?
And as long as Obama’s background remains a closely guarded secret, the number of birthers will only increase with time.

Those who think conspiracies are not possible are stupid beyond belief. They live in a pretty rose colored world with fluffy pink and blue ribbons and bows decorating it. Conspiracies have ruled history, and still do.
