Also, getting involved in local Pubbie party machinery will help you to build networks and contacts. Start reshaping the party at the local and go from there.

That’s true. Tea partiers went to the Michigan state convention here in Michigan and took down the former GOP chair and national committeeman back in the spring. (Saul Anuzis)

They negotiated an acceptable GOP replacement in Dave Agema. He’s an establishment republican but probably a 90+ percent conservative. He was a very acceptable compromise.

Our Tea Party is already doing this, but it occurs to me that we need to start the ground word NOW. That means canvasing our towns and neighborhoods and find all the people who would support a new party to replace the GOP. We do have to replace the wimp party, not just run a third party. We need to get boots on the ground like the election was tomorrow because it really is. If we can organize the Tea Party that is a huge start. The party needs a new name, not "Conservative", not "Tea Party". Those names have been ruined by the liberal press/party. We need to rebrand using Gingrich type presentation of conservatism. If we can't overcome the negative image we will not be able to get off the ground. No compromise of principles, just a better way to make them accepted by the mushy middle.
