1. Improve body language, answering to Chris' question how Obama should react. (gay activist) Andrew Sullivan of the DailyBeast suggested to "look straight in the eye" of the rival like "I know you are lying..."
2. Chris: make Abortion, an issue, as it came out so clear when the VP candidacy debate detailed their answer.
3. Latino vote, talk about immigration. (Nia-Malika Henderson The Washington Post. National Political Reporter).
4. "Bill Power," the power of Bill Clinton now active in Obama's campaign.
Obaama is a coward who has always had others do the dirty work for him. He will crumble once again. Too bad McCain didn’t do it four years ago.
Forget about “Bill power” if O throws Hillary under the bus over the Libya thing.
This assumes that Romney really is lying, which he clearly isn't. The Democrats' current definition of lying is "has a different policy opinion than the Democrats." I don't see how Obama's looking at Romney in the eye is likely to phase Romney one bit. Sullivan must dwell on some other planet if he really believes the Democrat propaganda on "lying" on this. Their whole "lying" meme on Romney and Ryan is pure Goebbels. Obama and Biden, on the other hand, brazenly lie about hard facts and are rarely called on it.
I hope Romney uses Biden's line (to be used against the DEM.) "if they would just get out o the way..."
Liberal propaganda is always thin layered veiled.
I like it!
Obie is a weak little man. And a liar. He cannot win a stare-down with Romney. Mitt has spent his life in one on one dealmaking and playing hardball with both other businessmen and scam artists, looking them in the eye, and being able to perceive one from the other.
Obie can try it, but he will lose. The only question is will he do a Joseph Stalin and thrust his chin in the air ridiculously as he looks away, or will he look down and sideways like the choom gangsta he is that's just been caught.
Obama could fall asleep on stage, start chanting morning prayers and do a few lines and he’ll still be declared the winner. Be ready for it. There is no way he can be allowed to down 0-2. Not at the rate he’s losing ground. He’s the winner of the next debate.
He'll go with the Stalin/Mussolini look this time. The base will love it, but how he thinks it will win over remaining undecideds is beyond me. Given Biden's tactics, it seems clear that they believe all they have to do is turn out their MSNBC base to win. Maybe he'll up the ante - the phones aren't enough, so he'll offer free ObamaPads to the whole 47%. :)
I think it was Mussolini who always thrust his chin out and up even on horseback. Hitler did it sometimes too but preferred to point his finger to make a point to the worshipers. Stalin usually just looked as if he had nothing to tell the world but he knew everything. Obama has some of each behavior if you closely observe him. I believe he has studied these men to learn about crowd influence when he isn’t snuggling up with a joint.
Please, bring up the abortion issue, don’t let the Obama administration hide their attitude towards life, make it an issue.
I don’t imagine that they will have much Bill power as they are throwing Hilary under the bus.
Folks used to be impressed with the way he looked up and squinted his eyes - they thought it made him look appropriately “regal”. After 4 years, and Bite-Me’s immature display, they’ll be turned off even more than folks are over Bite-Me.
ALL-liberal gang, lay out strategy for Obama.
Hasn’t worked for the last four years why repeat it?.
I gather they wish to avoid jobs, foreign policy and 0bama’s record
So nobama is going to cold hard stare eye to eye to make Mitt blink and confess? Bettin Mitt has faced fiercer competitors in years of biz negotiations.
Jive and hype may convince some when one has the stage alone, especially with a teleprompter to control the presentation. Alternatively, when face to face the propagandist has to react without external prompts or really appear “strange”. Truth and honesty really do come across better through body language in a debate setting.
It will all come right back down to the debaters record and the debater’s need to hide the facts. Who has the poor record requiring thinly veiled propaganda?
I would love to hear something like this:
Mr. President, isn’t it time that politicians stop taking credit for what the American people are really paying for? Politicians get votes, the hard-working tax payer does not even get a “thank you” note. Nothing is free.
This may be out the window if Obama continues in his attempts to save his own legacy at the expense of Hillary's.
If he does try it, however, I hope that Romney responds with something to the effect of:
"It's understandable that you are trying to run on Bill Clinton's record since your own record is so terrible."
Not a bad idea.
