The reason they don’t stop talking about it is Romney dealt that little marxist POS the biggest and most one-sided drubbing in his pampered life and they are still literally in shock over it.

Funny that MSNBC would be speaking of this. It is the MSM who keep it in the headlines themselves. My gosh the blame game is stupendous. I love it, a very special and beautiful thing to watch, quiet a Reality Show it is.

Amazing that the Big Bird non-issue is considered worthy of an ad campaign. On second thought, not that amazing when they’re obviously grasping at straws. But it’s not the only thing they think they have going out of the debate. The other is that Romney lied so fast about everything that the poor POTUS (and he undeniably is poor) couldn’t begin to keep up. But they promise he will come out with his own barrage of lies next time.

There are two aspects to this. The first is obvious and that is that Obama and his crew are suffering from the widely observed Costanza/jerk store effect. They won't let go until they've satisfied themselves that they've gotten in a good retaliatory zinger. The other, more important, aspect is that when Barnicle & Todd ask why can't Obama stop talking they subconsciously mean "why won't Obama stop talking about the debate"? They want it to go away. They are embarrassed. Their self image is challenged in an uncomfortable way when someone they elevated to godhood so manifestly, undeniably messes himself in public. This is Obama's political death knell. The self-annointed "cool" people no longer want to be associated with him because his stench threatens their coolness.

It's called Freeway Rubbernecking! Sheesh...hasn't any of these people driven on a freeway where the opposite lanes have a bad akskident and blue lights and all and the traffic on the other side just has to slow down to look....it's like that, only with more pity for themselves at misplaced dreams, allegiance and integrity.... a bad accident you can't help but look at.

Let them keep talking. Obama just can’t handle everyone knowing he’s a loser and is just determined to try and make people think they can’t believe their own lying eyes.

First we hear “It’s a drag. I have to do my homework,” from Zero, then Big Bird becomes a major campaign issue, then the Left attacks Romney for not campaigning at Nickelodeon?
The funniest thing about this is the new attack is on Josh Romney for saying he and his brothers taught his father how to debate an “obstinate child.” Don’t ever imply that a homework-dissing, Big Bird and Nickelodeon loving, adult male is childish unless he’s white, because otherwise it’s a dog whistle for a racist slaveholder term. /snark

This shows how important it is to control the message. The MSM/Democrat Axis has lost control of the message.

That is a great cartoon to mock 0dumb0 & the demoRATs attempt to build a campaign strategy based on Big Bird & Elmo. 0dumb0 is such a vain, arrogant, prideful, narcissistic pig, that he & the demoRATs are doubling down on this infantile strategy...let em go and just keep mocking 0dumb0 & the demoRATs. His vain ego will not allow him to let go of this!

They keep talking about it for one pure and simple reason... SPIN!
They can’t afford to leave that debate hanging in the air until the next debate. That leaves the impression that Romney won and solidifies it and it them becomes the narrative. They can’t have that. So they are continually trying to throw things against the wall to see what sticks so that they can spin it to their favor.

Excellent point. After that sort of an arse whoopin’ the sensible thing would be to let it go and try to move on. But it’s like they can’t allow an actual “fail” to exist out there.
