"The Journal poll found that 53 percent of likely voters surveyed back boosting eligibility to allow low-income children, seniors, pregnant women and the disabled sign up for the federal-state health insurance program."

You must be assuming that all of those 53% will vote.
Exactly. I’ve said that for years. Only net taxpayers should be allowed to vote. That would eliminate all government workers as they are not taxpayers. Factor in public-screwl benefits as well. If you paid $3,000 in taxes and have even one kid in public screwl, you don’t get to vote, as your government benefits exceed your taxes paid.
Don’t forget public-screwl benefits. Multiply every kid you have in public screwl by whatever the per pupil amount is. If it exceeds taxes paid, you don’t get to vote.
I am going to ‘bookmark’ this Vanity Title article, and make reference to it on the night of November 6. Mark my words, this is going to look so stupid, I will have a good time laughing.
Obama is going to pull out all the stops trying to buy this election. It’s his only shot really. The biggest danger will be when he proposes forgiving student loans. I know some rather conservative people who’d vote for him in a heartbeat if it would make a five-figure debt disappear.
And I will be joining you (with my rum and coke and popcorn). I sincerely hope there will be a change. NO PUN INTENDED because I do mean it.
Well, I don’t believe Obama will win.
The dems play this old game of padding the polling data.
During the 2000 election, they used 12-14% more dems .. and then couldn’t believe Bush won.
So stupid they believed their own FAKE polling.
In 2004, they used 16-18% more dems - and were aghast that Bush won again.
Yesterday or today, Rasmussen put out the latest numbers - and Romney is ahead by 5% - and Rasmussen is the only person who consistently uses likely voters - and he also uses the proper proportions of dems and repubs.
As far as I’m concerned .. Obama is already done. I say that, because the media is out there saying Romney is DONE in 3 of the key battle ground states, however, the numbers have been skewed (as usual).
If you understand “projection” and how it works .. you would understand why I’m so sure Romney will win.
I saw a couple polls just a few days ago that showed Romney closing the gap in NM. I never thought that New Mexico would be in play. I thought it was solid blue, off the table state.
New Mexico is now a swing state! Actually they did elect a “R” governor so maybe I shouldn’t be so surprised.
Because Dick Morris said that Romney will win in a landslide - we’re doomed!
Romney winning won’t be Marxists relinquishing power. They’ll just be slacking off a bit.
We’ll be trading a communist for the former governor of the “Bluest” state in the Union. Thus, both parties march leftward.
Not gonna happen.
