Obama defends Biden on 'chains' remark, dismisses Palin's Clinton suggestion (Psych!)

President Obama defended Vice President Joe Biden on Wednesday against criticism of his remarks that Republican repeal of Wall Street regulations would put voters "back in chains."

Obama also brushed off Sarah Palin's suggestion on Fox News that he drop Biden from the ticket in favor of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Palin, the 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee and a Fox News contributor, had said Biden's comments are the latest example of how he "really drags down that ticket."(continued)

They keep saying she's a has-been, irrelevant, washed-up, "snowball Snooki," "Caribou Barbie," etc., yet the de facto president of the United States almost always feels the need to respond to her comments and tweets, usually on the same day that they're made. What does that tell us? And now he can't drop Idiot Joe, or it'll look like he's following the advice of a "Chillbilly."

Here's the rub for Obama.

Because Palin made the suggestion, even though it's been out there for years, if Hillary replaced Slow Joe it would prove Obama can't think for himself and he needed Mama Grizzly to prod him in to doing it.

The fact that the Democrats have made it their mission to discredit Sarah would make the situation even more ironic.
