That is the diddy Obama and the rest of the Democrats across the nation will be happily humming

Gee Gabriel, did you mean "ditty"? You don't know diddly about our language, but you are a political analysis genius, I'm sure.

Not just 18 year olds...I’m willing to lump in most of the 25 and under crowd. They are all stupid these days.

Journalists are pinkos. It’s not so much that journalists become pinkos as pinkos become journalists. Every college journo I knew was a pinko. It’s not the milieu - it’s the self-selection.

No doubt more brains and maybe less "diddies" might help.

Actually if you go to Paul Ryan’s new Facebook page, in the two days since the announcement, he has gotten +346,000 “likes.” I refreshed the page after 30 minutes and the number had increased by over 7,000.

Doesn’t seem to me that the “Facebook Generation” thinks the way the author does.

“The Romney and Ryan ticket puts those in need of Medicare and Medicaid into the position of lingering glances toward the seated president.”

It is sickening the way the yute of today incessantly characterize more mature members of the populations as slow, uneducated and unable to think for themselves.
The message required from the pubbies is only the truth of the plan(s); no changes for current retirees, and incremental changes for non-retired folks, based on current age.

Thousands of young people are graduating with home mortgage sized debt, facing a bleak future of no job and few if any prospects. Living in mom’s basement on daddy’s insurance. Yet they want four more years of Obama??? The very definition of stupid!!!

The 2012 issues are now in focus... on GOP side: limited government, lower taxes, encourging of free markets and return to Constitutional principles. VS Obama/Democrats: Republicans wanna kill you and your wife... push granny over the cliff and deny Sandra Fluke her birth control.

It is interesting that in the movie ‘Starship Troopers’ the young people eagerly went into the military to earn their right to vote as ‘citizens’.

I am sure that the makers of that movie had some other means of ‘achieving’ citizenship but the theme was that ‘citizenship’ wasn't automatically given, it had to be earned.

this is why 18 year olds, except active duty military, should not be allowed to vote. they are too self-centered, short-sighted, and stupid.

Heh. I really liked this part.

Neither Romney nor Ryan has a military background or a history of international relations, so Ryan loses out on yet another angle the vice-presidential role has commonly covered for prospective presidents. Veteran camaraderie votes are basically a non-issue this election.

To begin with, the Dems don't give a Rat's a** [no pun intended] about veterans. And this skull-full-of-mush doesnt realize that, while military duty is an attractive quality to conservatives, it's respect for the military that matters.

So inept, so infantile. This cretin has NEVER held a real job, supported a family owned property and paid taxes, never served in the military,...but can tell us what to do. Dweeb.

These same idiots said that Tom Barrett and the four Dem candidates were going to walk away with the recall election in Wisconsin as late as late April.

Home town is Mystic. High school in Centerville.
In the late 1970s/early 80s, I participated in the brief renaissance of the Iowa coal industry. We built a 250 ton/hour hydrocyclone wash plant and had long term delivery agreements with Iowa electric and Iowa State's power plant.
