You know why I like the Democratic Party? I'll tell you: It's a big tent, and it always has been.
It's a place for working people and the middle class. For women, veterans, and small business owners. And new Americans, too. Everyone belongs here.
As we head into Saturday's important FEC fundraising deadline, you should be a part of it, too. Pitch in whatever you can, even as little as $3, to re-elect President Obama and help Democrats in tough local fights this year.
Contribute to the Democratic Party today.
Democrats represent a broad cross-section of Americans. It's our shared values that connect us -- and our policies reflect our core beliefs.
Think about it: When factory workers got together and decided to unionize to fight for the five-day work week, the minimum wage, and child labor laws, who got behind them? Democrats.
When women fought for their right to vote, and the 19th Amendment granting them suffrage was passed, who got their back? President Woodrow Wilson, a big Democrat.
Shut the history books, take a look at this president, and you'll see the same thing:
Barack Obama has said that people should be able to marry whoever they love.
President Obama has told the children of immigrants that if they've grown up in the United States and followed the rules, there's a place for them here.
There's never been a better time to be part of the Democratic Party. And I'm not going to mince my words: Democrats need us this year.
Congressional races up and down the ticket are relying on the funds we can bring in between now and Saturday's critical FEC fundraising deadline. President Obama's counting on us, too.

P.S. -- Any donation you make today will also automatically enter you for the chance to fly out to D.C. and talk shop over lunch with one of my favorite Dems, DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Trust me, it'll be fun: https://my.democrats.org/Support-Democrats

Lunch with Debbie wasserman Schultz, I would rather have a root canal with no novacaine.
Lunch with Debbie wasserman Schultz, I would rather have a vasectomy with no novacaine.

Democrats represent government dependency through promotion of universal victimization, as a product of your “identity group.”
Democrats promote “group envy and suspicion” as a product of your “group identity.”
Democrats send a message of defeatism and pessimism about what it means to be an American.
Their only unifying message is that we should all hate Rich White Men.
Well democrats...I hate you! I truly do. You undermine the most precious thing a person can have, and that is HOPE. In a FREE AMERICA one can rise each day and know that with effort and attitude you can improve your situation.
No, nothing is guaranteed other that an opportunity.
But in your world democrats, the omniscient hand of government will intrude and decide who the winners and losers will be. And of course , that means we will all be losers.
No thanks to your FREE LUNCH Debbie. I don't need or want your freebies and handouts. I just want you to leave me alone.
If the first prize is lunch with Debbie Wasserman Schultz, what is the second prize a two week vacation in N. Korea?
Oh God, does the prize come with a crate of Pepto Bismol?
You'd have to have a VERY strong stomach to keep anything down!
Hey Donna - guess you forgot that the Democratic Party is also the party of the KKK, Jim Crow laws, Lester Maddox, Al Gore Sr., Robert Byrd......
...and a 55 gallon drum of disinfectant?!
