People forget that the infamous picture posted below was a result of a congressional aid cut-off.

While slowing the invasion by shelling the invasion route might have stopped it or might have only delayed it, at least it most certainly would have ensured more lives being saved and a more orderly evacuation. I argued along with Michele Bachmann a year ago when the freshman GOP was seated in the HOUSE - STOP FUNDING THE OBAMACARE LAW. VERY SIMPLE. At first the 85 new Congresscritters could be seen voicing their opinion, then the "GOP-e Leadership" got involved and told them to STFU, if they wanted leadership roles or committee appointments. Boehner and the boys caved on the Continuting Resolution and the Debt Ceiling where the GOP held a Royal Flush against Obama's two of a kind.

I am through voting. What do we have now? A GOP-e selected Presidential nominee the weakest of the bunch running except Huntsman. I am though, it is not worth my time since IMHO all is lost. We are quickly becoming a socialist royalty.
