RNC chairman: If Obama wins, ‘we’re going to lose this country’

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus framed the presidential election as a moral "battle for the freedom in this country" in a fiery speech Friday to the Faith and Freedom Coalition.

Priebus, not known as a bomb-thrower, said the country is facing a stark choice in November between President Obama and Mitt Romney.

"It's time to end the Barack Obama presidency before this presidency ends our way of life," he said to loud cheers from the audience of religious right leaders and supporters.

"We have to win this election, or we're going to lose this country,” Priebus said. “Collectivism will replace individualism, government agencies will replace free enterprise and the dreams of Obama will replace the vision of our Founding Fathers."

The RNC chairman said Obama is not "your daddy's Democrat" like John F. Kennedy or Bill Clinton, and would "rather bow to foreign leaders than stand up for America's greatness."

He also compared the battle between Obama and Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney to the battle for freedom fought in World War II.

"We're in a battle for freedom in this country," he said, later ending his speech with an exhortation to beat Obama — or else.

"Elect Mitt Romney, fire Barack Obama and save America," he said.

I am a Roman Catholic. I believe in the doctrines of my Church. Romney, no less than Obozo has persecuted my Church in Massachusetts. Do you or others who are willing to accept Romney and want the rest of us to vote for him REALLY think that we should ignore religious persecution and vote for Romney any more than we will vote for Obozo? When the bishops of my Church are REQUIRED by Romneycare (or Obozocare) to sign insurance premium checks to pay for abortions, "morning after" pills, sterilizations, IUDs or birth control pills, each and every one of which is deemed a mortal sin by the Church and, other than sterilizations, each and every one of which KILLS a baby in utero, what is left of the First Amendment???

I have voted for each and every GOP POTUS nominee starting with Nixon in 1968. I am done. If the GOP wants my vote from now on, it will have to earn it by nominating something better than Ford, Dole, Bush the Elder, Dole, McCain or Romney. That will be the reality that the GOP is faced with as to my vote and that of a LOT of other conservatives. I owe the GOP absolutely NOTHING! And NOTHING is precisely what they will get from me unless and until they nominate ACTUAL CONSERVATIVES for office, federal, state and local. There is still time to dump Romney. If the GOP does not dump Romney in favor of an actual conservative, then the result is on the GOP.

Note that Myth Romney did not care to announce at any point in the primaries ANY substantive policies beyond the fact that he is not Obozo. Though his name is different, he seems strangely reluctant to show voters what a Myth Romney regime will do differently. He will repeal and REPLACE Obozocare. What the hell does that mean? We would have to elect him to find out. Sound familiar? I don't care who endorses Romney (or Obozo). I don't care who the running mate may be. I don't care who his cabinet would be. Any more than I care about those things with Obozo. I only care for the unconditional and absolute political destruction of both of them.

The day after the 2012 "election" is the start of the Resistance to destroy whichever of these imbeciles gets "elected." No honeymoon. No quarter. No compromise. No matter which is elected, the money-obsessed bosses of the GOP need to be destroyed politically. This year's fiasco must NEVER be repeated.

Nowhere is it written that Obozo gets to appoint SCOTUS judges or any other appointments if GOP senators say: Hell, no! In 1967-68, then Senate GOP leader Bob Griffin did that to Lyndon Johnson (SCOTUS appointments of CJ Abe Fortas and AJ Homer Thornberry, both of whom failed) who was a virtual Bircher by comparison to Obozo."

Kick Ass, Conservative! For 2012, it appears to be over. We can elect a Ted Cruz in Texas, a Richard Mourdock in Indiana, a Deb Fischer in Nebraska, and a few more to stiffen the spine of the Senate. Romney's nomination means no POTUS election this year and likely none in 2016. I am voting for Tom Hoefling (absolutely the most consistent conservative standing for POTUS and our own Freeper Eternal Vigilance). Others are voting for Virgil Goode or Gary Johnson. 'Cultural marxism' has purposely, slowly, and insidiously infiltrated every aspect of our lives: education, media, entertainment, immigration policy, health care, legal system, monetary and fiscal policy, the political elite of both major political parties, . . .

The enemy within has been very successful in creating a story for the ‘left’ about economic, social, educational, and environmental ‘justice’, 'sustainability', 'concensus' and a story for the ‘right’ about ‘free trade’, 'comparative advantage', free movement of goods and natural persons, and 'profits uber alles' with no reference to patriotism or morality. Both stories lead to the same place - destruction of the American economy, security, traditional culture, values and its pesky middle class under the tyranny of global communism.

The 'left' call themselves progressives and put a D after their names; the 'right' call themselves compassionate conservatives and put an R after their names. In reality the left and the right are one and the same. Only the window dressing is different. The right will do behind your back what the left does in your face. That appears rather unlikely, considering how hardhe has worked for the nomination & how much of his own money he has put into the fight!

The major difference between Romney & McCain is that McCain has been moving to the Left over the past decade, or more Romney is now moving to the right. Another difference is that Romney takes great pride in being a problem solver. McCain has been more concerned with trying to be all things to all people.

It is in that "pride," that I believe that Romney may be reachable. He has learned to look closely at all practical aspects of a situation in the business world. Properly approached, can we get him to look at social aspects of the deterioration of American culture, which Bush & McCain were afraid to address. If we can, he will move sharply to the Right, because the same principles that apply to solving economic woes, apply equally to all other aspects of human interaction.

Anyhow, that is how I believe we must approach this. (Romney & American Conservatism).

I appreciate your well thought out Post. My Handle is my Handle. Maybe I should change it to “Realistic Conservative” to appease those among us who refuse to accept the situation as it stands today.

The problem is simply this, there is ONE Republican RINO and ONE Democrat MARXIST running for President. The Primaries offered us a chance to get a Conservative Republican as our Nominee and apparently the Republican Voters thought otherwise.

I will not do anything to assist Obama in his mission to “Fundamentally Change” my Country. If he pulls off Reelection, he will treat is as a affirmation of the damage he has already done. His decisions regarding everything from his SCOTUS Appointments to his Green Agenda will be the ruin of all we hold dear.

His first term was just lighting the Fuse. His next term will ignite the Powder. Do what you will my FRiend, but I cannot concur with all of your conclusions. We can steer a President Romney to where we need him to go just like we did with RINO President Bush. The same does not apply to Obama. He is out to destroy us. As I posted previously, I am a Roman Catholic. My church comprises 25-28% of this nation's population. Next largest denomination is Southern Baptist Convention at 17% which agrees with the RCC on life issues. Other churches which concur are all Eastern Orthodox Christians (Russian, Greek, Ukrainian, etc.), Wisconsin Evangelical Synod Lutherans, Missouri Synod Lutherans, Mormons (ironically under the circumstances), many Evangelical and Pentecostal churches, Jehovah's Witnesses, Seventh Day Adventists, Christian Science, etc. Together, these surely represent a majority of all Americans. Of course, baby-killing is flat out wrong even if 99.99999% of the public (or more) enthusiastically cheered the SCOTUS imposed baby holocaust.

Having voted GOP for POTUS for 44 years despite such genuinely stinking candidates as Nixon, Ford, Bush the Elder, Dole, and McCain (most of whom were elitist idiots and obsessive greedheads and closet pro-aborts at best), I have already given to the GOP beyond the call of duty.

Now, Romney, having actively persecuted (not merely criticized, not merely disagreed with, but PERSECUTED under color of law in direct violation of the First Amendment of the US Constitution) the Roman Catholic Church (and, by necessary implication, each and every other pro-life church named above) in Massachusetts as governor, imagines that people like me should vote for him on the usual BS grounds that the Demonrat is an unacceptable boogieman (which he is but so is Myth) or the Demonrat will destroy the SCOTUS (so will Myth and eagerly so), etc. etc., ad infinitum, ad nauseam. I have had it.

Bush the Younger is and was a credibly religious man who was dedicated to being pro-life, and pro-family, and opposed to rump-ranging perversions masquerading as "marriage." The only argument for Bush the Younger being a RINO is on money issues and the social company he keeps (neither of which was controlled or controllable) and money is merely money and not very important compared to the life issues, military issues, foreign policy issues, gun issues, etc.

Your faith that Myth Romney is or can EVER be anything but an effective Marxist (he is just in a smidgeon less of a hurry) and a committed baby-killing, marriage-killing, gun grabbing (among many other similarly unpalatable social revolutionary is touching. The habits and track record of this POS's lifetime are absolutely as hard to shake as Obozo's. His SCOTUS appointments will be NO BETTER than Obozo's unless money is your god.

If this nation MUST be destroyed, then let it be destroyed by Demonrats and Obozo and let the GOP survive as a moral force to prepare to recover the wreckage.

I have no desire whatsoever to elect Myth Romney as POTUS so that we can spend the next four years begging to touch the hem of his despicable garment or pleading with him to side on a rare occasion or two with Western Civilization.
