A former Democratic National Committeewoman in Pennsylvania who once served on her local city council and ran for Blair County Commissioner has become a Republican now.

There are others, as well, inculding the Michigan state Representative who bolted (reported on another thread). Taken together, this and other defections are a good sign.

There are lots of blue dog democrats out there still and it does not surprise me at all, many are leaving the party that left them so long ago ....

In the last four years the democratic party has taken an extreme hard left turn and Obama has managed by his arrogance and extreme positions to alienate many middle of the road democrats Who don't necessarily Vote ideological but with their pocket and some important social issues

As republicans we should accept them with open arms.....and welcome them to join the sane party
