Mitt Romney, during campaign stops in Michigan yesterday, embraced his Michigan roots for all theyre worth. As he watches his popularity plummet in the state in which he grew up, he seems to be grasping at anything to keep from sinking any further.
Romney tried to hit all the right buttons in order to resonate with Michigan voters leading up to their February 28 primary, by making himself one of them again. I was born and raised here. I love being in Michigan, Mr. Romney said. Everything seems right here. You know, I come back to Michigan; the trees are the right height. The grass is the right color for this time of year, kind of a brownish-greenish sort of thing. It just feels right.
As if those bizarre references werent enough to make one scratch their head, the candidate went on to further befuddle his audiences by offering up a paean to the states Great Lakes.
I like seeing the lakes. I love the lakes. Theres something very special here. The Great Lakes, but also all the little inland lakes that dot the parts of Michigan.

I’m getting to be so I’m afraid to leave the house because Obama and Romney are stalking me.
Maybe he ought to open up a poetry club, and quit the Presidential race.
I'm Mitt Romney and it's good to be back home again in Massachusetts Michigan.
“the trees are the right height”
Right height for what?
I sense the “That’s racist” kid is coming up soon...
The funds raised in these FReepathons go to pay our current quarter expenses. But we're also going to try to replace some of our older servers and failing equipment this year so we're going to add a little extra to our FReepathon goals. John is estimating ten to fifteen thousand to do this and I'd like to get it all in place and working before the election cycle is fully heated up, so we'll try to bring in a little extra now, if we can, and the rest next quarter.

The “smart people” think this guy’s the answer?
No wonder our nation is so (goof)ed up.
Mitt left the state before I was born and I’m 33 years old.

Willard, you know what else?
Whaddya mean? Romney has an MBA from Harvard, just like George Bush. Oh. wait a minute...never mind.
Have you ever been to a funeral for someone who was not a churchgoer, and an unfamiliar pastor had to be found and hired to perform the eulogy?
They hem and haw, make vaguely pleasant inferences that could apply to just about anyone, then struggle to say something, anything specific about the dearly departed, who is a total stranger to them. It’s very uncomfortable, even embarrassing.
That’s what this sounds like.

Greta just buried Mitt last night by exposing just how big a scam Romneycare really was. Tommy Thompson explains how Romneycare came to be. How Ted Kennedy and Mit, used $583M of "saved" Disproportionate Share funds, for seed money for Romneycare.
I find it very interesting that 'surplus' federal dollars earmarked for indegent patients end up getting used to bankroll a program to eliminate a small percentage of well to do Free Riders .
Michigan cows give chocolate milk but surprisingly its not brown cows that do it. In fact all Michigan cows give chocolate milk.
