Osteen: Romney "believer in Christ, like me"

(CBS News) Pastor Joel Osteen, one of America's most popular religious figures, said on "CBS This Morning" that GOP candidate Mitt Romney believes in Jesus like he does.

"What I see about Governor Romney is that he says, 'I believe Jesus Christ is the son of God, he's raised from the dead and he's my savior.' I see him as being a believer in Christ, like me."

Charlie Rose said, "That's enough for you?"

"That's enough for me," Osteen said. "There's differences in all religion. I realize Mormonism is different from Christianity, but you know what, he's a man of faith and values. And to me, that's strong."

...with top-level respect within Mormonism.

 

  It is true that the earth was organized by three distinct characters, namely, Eloheim, Yahovah, and Michael, these three forming a quorum, as in all heavenly bodies, and in organizing element, perfectly represented in the Deity, as Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

And if you dig deeply into MormonISM teaching by leaders who have not been ‘excommunicated’, there is substantial reason to believe Lyman’s teaching remains because it is not contrary to what the Mormon leadership believe to be the ‘truth’.

Or just brush the sand away...

Rank and file MORMONs cannot even accept or reject things PLAINLY taught and written by the church's leaders.
