Michele Bachmann's campaign is in last place and she will be the first one out

Michele Bachmann had high hopes going into this Presidential campaign. She saw herself as the second coming of Sarah Palin. A new and improved version of Sarah Palin. Unfortunately, Bachmann is not a new Sarah Palin nor an improved Sarah Palin.
Michele Bachmann is in last place in most of the polling.
Every recent poll put Bachmann in last place heading into the caucuses, a far cry from her summer win in a state GOP straw poll. But top campaign advisers vowed she would prove the recent surveys wrong by activating a support network built through her visits to small towns and churches in every corner of Iowa...
--snip--
...Bachmann vows to stay in the campaign, but that is not realistic and the fact is she will likely be the first to hold a press conference to announce the end of her campaign.
At that press conference Bachmann will say some nice things about Mitt Romney, because Bachmann has high hopes of being his Vice-Presidential nominee.
Yes, that Sarah Palin thing again. The good news (and for us Democrats the bad news) is that Mitt Romney is much too smart to name Bachmann as his nominee....

Well hopefully people help her out because that is all we need is a Democrat replacing her. That would be a shame just because people got their little feelings hurt.

I agree, but she has put herself in a potentially bad position.

I never thought she had a chance at running for the White House, and Im afraid she has proven me right.
Meantime, she has been thoroughly neglecting the job she was elected for. She could have organized the Tea Party freshman and spoken out against Boners constant cave-ins to Obama, which have now cost us another trillion dollars. Instead, she spent that time fund-raising in a vain pursuit of the White House.
And shes pretty well wrecked any future chances of running again, when she has earned it. But if she would only go back to doing a good job in congress, it would certainly help.
It would be a huge gain to have a real conservative like Bachmann or Santorum elected President; the Republican party would benefit tremendously. So the run is well worth Michele's effort.
She did not have the clout in Congress to arm twist dozens of freshman. The leadership has much more power than she does; she's just the beginning any anything signifcantly changing in the halls of Congress. Most of the supposed "Tea Party" freshman were bought off with offers of "careers" so they can "get things done" "down the road".
This year in Congress was a complete waste because Obama has veto power and the Dems have the Senate.
Nothing could be passed that was a good conservative bill.
All the House could do is block things by not passing them.
Unless a bill hinged on a few votes, Michele's (and any other real conservative's) vote and limited arm-twisting power (not being a very senior member) had no way to bear much fruit this year.
A few times when it was a big deal she came back and voted.
She's the only candidate who has a real small business perspective. She would be the first such President in a VERY long time.
If she or Santorum is elected, it will be the first Christian in office that will give heathens a run for their money in a long time.
Without America ever taking the first step on the long road back to morality, we're financially doomed no matter what happens. Brains with no morals is just efficient evil.
2012 is shaping up to be the year of European disaster, so I guess we have to somehow get through that first.
IMHO...

Still suffering, I see. Sarah is a proven fighter for Our Constitution/Our Country. You have a problem with her - you got a problem.

I think she needs to stay in through South Carolina. If I was her I would skip New Hampshire and concentrate on South Carolina. I would say with Newt spend little time and resources in New Hampshire and hit South Carolina hard. Cripes Huntsman is in 2nd place in New Hampshire so that should be a big clue. Conservatives should avoid the place.

Palin is right. It's not her turn, but that's a very polite way of saying bail out.
Bachmann made too many silly mistakes early when first impressions matter most and are least likely forgotten.

to battle Obama or Mitt,
She had her chances to battle Mitt and we know the rest of the story. That's her legacy.

Actually, I don't remember including obama in the whole piece; to those with at least average reading comprehension, I was generally comparing Bachmann's voice adn presentation as a contrast to the comments made - on this board - over the past couple of years by the anti-Palin crowd who complained about her voice/accent.
I think is a travesty that some people come on a blog like this, based on peoples thoughts and opinions, and then attack the first person who posts an opinion that doesn't agree with them.
If Bachmann gets you all hot and bothered, then that's YOUR opinion of her...I posted mine.
I'd say your choices are:
2. Allow someone other than yourself to have an opinion.
I can assure you that my humble opinion of her voice is a personal preference, and will in no way promote, or impede, Michelle Bachmann's ascention to the top of the polls, or the White House.
Sounds like you just don't care for folks who don't like YOUR choice.
And by the way, I cannot stand obama...if he shows up on TV, I change the channel, or turn it off. So, try to have a hint of what you're talking about before you launch an attack...OK????????????????????????????????????????????

Michelle could have been a conservative hero by attacking Romney in the debates. Instead she attacked Perry, Newt and Cain. I think she and Mittens had a secret deal and she acted as his attack dog in hopes for the VP position.
At this point I am so disgusted with her and Mittens - I would never vote for a Mitt/Michelle ticket anyway.
She really hurt herself in this campaign with conservatives.

I’m still waiting for him to have a stroke when his daughter drops a home made porno to try and reverse her slide into irrelevancy.

Disagree, for all her faults, Bachmann had the guts to run. Palin is a FOX News contributor who played with fans until the last minute, took the final bucks, and wimped out on the Levin Show for cover after taking in the last dough. It was very sad really. I don’t know one FOX News contributor yet, who has stuck their neck out to save the nation unless it would be Dana PerRINO. LOL
And don’t insult me. You asked if we agree or disagree. I said disagree, and told you why.
Nuff said.

Suffering? What would I be suffering from exactly? I have no problem with her. I just think there’s an solid chance that, based on her past record (ie McCain) that she’ll endorse Romney.
To: FrankR
I will admit in that respect she is very similar to Palin. The voice and the “I” thing. These gals just can’t share the stage.

I’m not sure the number of laws that one has imposed on the populous is an accurate measure of one’s conservatism. I’d be more interested in how many measures she has defeated.

I’ve never read an intelligent comment from you.
Btw, Willard, your guy is going DOWN in SC.
