Mitt Romney's top ten is made up of Goldman Sachs, followed by Credit Suisse (Switzerland), Morgan Stanley, Barclays (UK), Bank of America and JP Morgan. In contrast Romney's co-frontrunner in Iowa, Ron Paul, has a top three donor list made up of the US Army, US Navy and US Airforce.

Sorry, SJackson. I was unclear, and was not directing that comment to you.
ah, got it—wasn’t thinking or trying to forget, I just don’t associate them with anything military and yes, I realize they’re all over DoD...one of th reasons I retired and was glad too. They tend to be even more liberal outside of the DoD.
...an yes, you’re correct, the established GS folks tend to be lazy, liberals and arrogant especially as they get to a policy making level.
Yes, they are pretty bad within the DOD, but the State Dept. and DOJ seem to be the worst.

Apparently, in the minds of active duty military personnel, it seems!

But here, we all know that you’re a busboy-in-training.

I read your ‘sarc’ tags on that loud and clear, but the big contractors usually have their finger on the pulse, much more so than any other group.
I am led to wonder about that one.
Don’t wonder, like bankers and health companies, they contribute to both sides. Not significant, imo.
What gets me about the neo-nazi contributions is RPauls refusal to return the money. Or even more, the contortions his supporters go thru to defend this.

No REAL military person would support paul when he calls a traitor like Bradley Manning a HERO and a PATRIOT.
True, but it’s difficult to prove they are falsifying. Although, when this came up in 08, I seem to remember some freeper did find some discussions on a few RPaul boards that inferred there was some of that.
Money is money, especially when it's Ron's.
Don Black, Stormfront, his most prominent hate community supportor/donor.
Don is a felon.
Federal time.
Can you think of a candidate for federal office that accepts donations from felons?
Other than Congressman Ron.
The justifications for the Iraq war were made years ago based on expectations of benefits that did not occur. Which, if any, of the previous justifications have proven to be true? Looking back on the war, what real benefits have we received?
Another thing. His supporters are in major denial refusing to see how devastating these things would be in a general election.
The SEC is pretty damn bad too, I speak from experience. Their HR folks are openly hostile to any veterans preference and the EO preferences are incredible.
Americans are becoming more polarized in any case. The melting pot is not working and now with the homosexualization of the military I wonder what the demographics will look like in the future.
