The man who ran Herman Cain’s Iowa campaign, before he dropped out of the presidential race, announced he is now supporting Newt Gingrich. Larry Tuel was Cain’s state campaign director until Dec. 3. Friday he endorsed Gingrich in an email to The Des Moines Register.

Tuel said in his email that the former House speaker "is intelligent, positive and has the best grasp of policy and the role of government as it relates to tax, spending and regulatory power. Gingrich also picked up the endorsement of Iowa State Rep. Scott Raecker on Friday. Raecker, who chairs the Iowa House Appropriations Committee, made the announcement at Gingrich's’s first campaign event of the day at the Wakonda Club in Des Moines.

I just want him to go home and be conference president or whatever his title is in his denomination. He should only be allowed in the White House on the tour.

Hmmmmmmm, Newt seems to be picking up a lot of endorsements in the final days of the Iowa campaign. Good for Newt. He is a good man and what the country needs.
