If I'm not mistaken Ronald Reagan was running about 20 points behind Carter at some points during the summer of 1979. The point being that claiming someones prospects are “bleak” based on a poll 11 months before an election is laughable at best.

Let me guess...Romney is the only way we can win.
Won’t get fooled again.

It’s informative to note the MSM is totally focused on polls and personalities — not issues.

And the drumbeat continues. The Left is terrified of Gingrich, that’s obvious.

Are they talking about Newt the way they did Reagan at around this same time?

Pushing for Romney as usual, while the single-digit others are glad to use the MSM to try to help bump up their candidate.

I’m not thrilled with him either ... he’s a progressive...
I sincerely hope that Newt and Mitt damage each other badly enough that they both drop out and make room for the conservatives.

Looks like it, yeah. And we all know how that ended.

The Reuters/Ipsos poll shows a smaller but still notable difference, with Romney trailing by 8 percent and Gingrich by 13 percent. If you believe THIS poll, then neither of them can, nor can anyone else.

You think NEWT’S numbers are bad against Obama, put Michele in there and you’ll really see bad.

Let me think this through...
The WashPost’s 5th column reporters are telling us that there is no way Gingrich can win...
They never attack Mitt Romney...
Hmmm, this is as close to an endorsement as they can give us.

And the drumbeat continues. The Left is terrified of Gingrich, thats obvious.I'm beginning to think so as well. He's just "left" enough to show obama as the marxist he is.

Oooh, by all means, let’s take WAPO’s advice. What could possibly go wrong with that scenario?

The same was said about Reagan. Over and over and over.
I’m so sick of the media -ALL MEDIA- thinking THEY can determine the outcome of elections.
