AFAIC if ANY of the R’s now running take the White House it’s just kicking the can down the road. It will be business as usual in DC until 2016 or 2020 and then the Communists take it back, possibly for good.

When I read some of the nasty posts about her its the same kind of crap I can find on the Daily Kos and DU..I mean really, aren’t Republicans supposed to be better than this? I can understand disagreeing with her, or not even liking her, that’s fine..but when I see her being attacked for just wanting to HELP, its really disgusting. After all, what has she done that is so horrible that she deserves such treatment? Absolutely nothing, yet they continue to bash her, not just bash her, but Daily Kos kind of bashing..We all have supposedly ONE goal in mind, and that is taking back the White House from Obama and the Marxists, that should be our goal
She wasn’t perfect. Their internal God (themselves) forgives them of all shortcomings. Sarah? Not so much. You’re dealing with humans. I’d rather deal with pirhanas.
Could you at least admit that there is a chance that she got complacent after earning a fortune and lost the edge to put up a fight? That’s my best conclusion. Is it a cause for ‘vitriol’? No. But it didn’t elevate my opinion of her.
Most of the people that replied in Palin threads liked her as do I. I just took the position that she would never run many months ago and gave very precise reasons why. For this I was attacked and called names by many Palinite posters that had clearly let their better judgement escape them. I really could not believe the responses. They were as kooky and emotional as anything seen from the left. I seriously doubt most of these same posters will even vote in the general election.
So am I happy she is not running? No not really, as I was convinced long ago she would not run and never really intended to run. She, like any good politician was keeping the doors open just in case things did go her way.
I'm happy to have her doing what I think she does best and that's help other candidates get elected and help keep mushy repubics on message.

Palin made up her own mind about running. I’m sure she thought long and hard about it. I wish she had decided to run, but she didn’t, and I accept her decision.

Liberalism is about forcing people to do what others think they should. Conservatism is about letting people make up their own minds about what’s best for them.
She did just that.
It’s too late for her to get in now, and she isn’t going to run third party, which she surely understands would hand the election to King Barry on a silver platter.
The only “PDS” I see around here is in people who are angry at Palin for betraying them by not running, or think there’s still a chance that she might run, and think that with enough petitions and tweets and twitters she might just possibly change her mind.

Sarah Palin represents the clearest attempt to try to effect change in DC from the outside. That why she had,and still has, my complete support.
John Boehner would still be crying in the minority corner today if it were not for what Sarah did for the GOP in 2010.

Some people blame her or are simply crushed that she didn't fight more.
I don't know all of the forces behind her decision, but I'm sure they were more than considerable.
I respect her decision. It's a loss for our culture and our society, but maybe we need to do more ground work to pave the way for more Sarah Palins in the future.
