Same here. I don’t know what objective criteria the “jus’ ‘dis” Dept. uses, but I’m surprised they didn’t reject it because more Dems wouldn’t win.

I’m not surprised. They don’t reject a map unless it messes with an extant minority-majority district.
The last people to mess up an do that were Texas Republicans in 2004 with the Bonilla district.
