>> “And not one iota of evidence showed the public is interested in having her as President.” <<
.
About the most ignorant, fact bereft statement posted in at least a month.
You have never been known here for your dedication to the truth, but this is extreme, even for you.
I didn't think any amount of derision or anything else could make Obama look positive.
Guess I missed something.
Nebuchadnezzar wasn’t a politician, he was a dictator.
We’re not skinning cats, and winning at a convention requires delegates.
I’m talking about Palin. You are in love with her. She will break your heart.
So says and does the majority of the peoples of the earth.
So did they before the flood of Noah’s time
Not a good way to be.
Christie emphatically said NO to a presidential run for 6 months; why was it ok for some to hold out hope for him to change his mind and not for Sarah.
Sarah has said “Hope” is not a strategy; she has also said that if she was to run it would be an unconventional campaign. What could be more unconventional than to enter late or even after the primaries commence as a reluctant candidate?
Right. Especially when the words hurt. So, back to reality.. how about sharing some data that shows she had a snowball's chance in hell of winning the Presidency?
“What could be more unconventional than to enter late or even after the primaries commence as a reluctant candidate?”
Even better... how about as a third-party candidate? That’ll shake ‘em up.
You believe Palin means what she says, right? Is this most important decision not to run meant to be different?
(crickets...)
those dates are for the GOP...
to be on the presidential ballot, one must be submitted as the representative for a national party sometime after august prior to the election
that’s why they have the primary nominations ... to select the representative from the party... which is then submitted to each state on the ballot for president
until that time, which candidate will be on the ballot for that party is up in the air.
if there was a national party, say ... the TEA party... and Sarah was nominated as their candidate in June... let’s just say there’d be no end to the media coverage and the GOP would be wetting themselves
(why should she represent a party that has thrown her and her family under the bus for 2+ years? the GOP can go twist in the wind)
in the last 2 years, the leftist operatives have been making themselves more and more obvious on FR
Zero loses next year, Sarah challenges Begich for his Alaska Senate seat in 2014, and wins in a landslide. That sets her up for a POTUS run in 2020 after 8 years of a GOP presidency.
If that scenario plays out, we may just stand a good chance of saving this country.
If only ...
I believe she’s declined the notion of an independent run, but if she did go this route, I’d be in her corner in a split-second over the GOP scum that endlessly backstabbed her at every turn these past two-to-three years.
The GOP didn’t defend her against the constant barrage of media lies after the election, they didn’t defend her when Obama’s operatives were deliberately driving her family to bankrupcy, they didn’t defend her when the media accused her of complicity in mass murder in Arizona. Hell, the scumbag cowards in the GOP not only didn’t defend her in these cases, but joined in with the vicious wilding.
I’d love to see her get in the race as an independent if only to thrust a dagger into the heart of the GOP establishment. And I’m saying this as someone who has voted exclusively GOP my whole damned voting life.
While Obama preps for his second Inaugural.
A split GOP/Conservative vote hands re-election to the marxist boy-king on a platter.
That said, I do not support a "Draft Palin for President" movement. She clearly stated that she would not be running for president this election cycle and we must respect her decision and let her be.
I say this as a big admirer of Sarah Palin. Had she decided to run, I would have supported her enthusiastically. Drafting her, making her feel guilty about her decision or trying to shame her into running is counterproductive in my opinion. In order to be an effective president, you need to have the "fire in the belly." Well at least for this election cycle, Palin does not have that fire in the belly, otherwise she would be running. The job of U.S. president is too important to be dragging somebody into it unwillingly.
Sarah Palin is still a young woman. She will still be a viable presidential candidate for at least the next 20 years should she decide to run in a future election cycle.
So it's time to put thoughts of Palin for president aside for now and move on to another candidate.
Windflier my friend, I am disappointed and discouraged that she is not running. None of the current candidates inspire any confidence or optimism. Not one. That said, she has announced her decision. I support her, and however much it pains me I accept her decision. She is far better placed to assess the situation for her than we are.
“I believe shes declined the notion of an independent run, but if she did go this route, Id be in her corner in a split-second over the GOP scum that endlessly backstabbed her at every turn these past two-to-three years.”
If she did this so would I, but she has stated that she will NOT run as a third party candidate. She says it here, about 3 minutes in. From the Mark Levin show:

“Pathetic” is the energy supporting the rest of the candidates, except for a few naive Paulbots. This petition is going to go for naught, but I don’t know ONE excited Republican right now. The air has been sucked from the dirigible, without Sarah in the mix. Bob
