As I rode my horse, Little Man, around Rancho del Cielo during the spring of 1975, I thought a lot about the lost vision of our founding fathers and the importance of recapturing it and the voices from around the country who were pressing me to run for president. And I remembered something Id said many years before: A candidate doesnt make the decision whether to run for president; the people make it for him.

She’s not running.
Pathetic...
Too late. South Carolina’s filing deadline is Tuesday, New Hampshire right after that. The field in front of us is the field we have.
She said “No”, leave it.
?????
Dishonest abe...
?????
I fully expect to see post like this right up to Monday, November 5, 2012 and starting again Wednesday, November 7, 2012 no matter who wins.
Rather see her as VP alongside Cain. She’ll be a popular addition to a ticket with the only conservative candidate, and 8yrs of VP experience will put her in an excellent position to run for POTUS.
Give. It. Up.
Good grief. Some people just can’t buy a clue. Sarah Palin is not running for POTUS, no matter how sanctified you believe she is.
Not going to happen. Sarah Palin has a toddler, and one who has special needs and time demands at that. In her letter announcing her declination to run, she emphatically stated that her priorities are God, Family, THEN country. She is going to put her family first, which is her responsibility as a mother, notice that the constitution bars young people (under 35) from being president. I believe that the Founding Fathers at least considered the notion that those with a responsibility of raising young children would have that priority as well. Whether or not they did, Sarah Palin will NOT be a VP candidate or presidential candidate for some years to come, if ever.
Actually I haven't seen much of Sarah since she said, "NO."
If Romney is the nominee come next November, I’m going to “write in” Palin! Hell, I might very well write her name in regardless of the GOP nominee.
“Some people just cant buy a clue. Sarah Palin is not running for POTUS, no matter how sanctified you believe she is.”
Correct, they don’t even need a clue, she gave an emphatic and resounding “NO.” Just as she should have with her current family situation. I support her choice in being a mother, first.
She would make a fine president, but in 2012 she would have a hard time winning.
She’s still young. She can run in 2016, 2020, 2024 or even 2028, assuming there is still an America and we still have elections.
Maybe they’re in that crowd that thinks, “’No’ means ‘No’, and sometimes ‘Maybe’.”
Where have you gone, Joe DiMaggio
A nation turns its lonely eyes to you (Woo, woo, woo)
What’s that you say, Mrs. Palin
Joltin’ Joe has left and gone away
(Hey, hey, hey...hey, hey, hey)
LOL
