to be on the presidential ballot, one must be submitted as the representative for a national party sometime after august prior to the election
that’s why they have the primary nominations ... to select the representative from the party... which is then submitted to each state on the ballot for president
until that time, which candidate will be on the ballot for that party is up in the air.
if there was a national party, say ... the TEA party... and Sarah was nominated as their candidate in June... let’s just say there’d be no end to the media coverage and the GOP would be wetting themselves
