WMUR TV in New Hampshire released their periodic Granite State Poll today, and Texas Gov. Rick Perry is polling in 5th place with 4% of the respondents indicating they'd vote for him if the election is held today.
WMUR Granite State Poll Results 10/7/2011:
Romney: 37% Cain: 12% Paul: 9% Huntsman: 8% Perry: 4% Gingrich: 4% Everyone else: 2% (+/- 4% margin of error)

I agree with Rick Perry on many things, disagree with him on others. But I would hate to see him elected President. I am sticking with Cain.
I’m not writing him off yet. Has he spent any time in NH?

Interesting. I figured Romney would be the frontrunner in NH, but I am a little surprised Perry is that much behind.
Politics is a funny business. Only a few weeks ago, there was talk of Perry dealing a mortal blow to Romney’s chances if he won a couple straw polls early on, etc. I’d find it all quite entertaining, were the stakes not so darn high. We must vote Obama out in 2012, we simply must.

Can you tell me why that asked 263 Democrat Primary voters about Republican PRIMARY candidates.

In the report today, the pollster mentioned that the 2nd place slot in that poll has a sordid past, to include having Trump and Guiliani in in second in earlier polls.

Amen. I am as well. Since Sarah has “released” me (I could look at no other candidate except her), I’ve been researching Cain.
I’ve been watching him speak, seeking out all that is Cain and I like what I see. Funny how he has made such a leap since Sarah has announced she will not be running.
I remember Sarah stating she would run (paraphrasing here) if she saw no other candidate that could get the job done. She and her family knew the sacrifice it would take, but were willing to take it if “nobody else” showed up to do the job.
Time will tell, but I believe Sarah will endorse Cain. Since she has announced she will not be running, I’ve been all over Cain and I like what I see and believe what I hear.
Maybe there’s hope for Gingrich.

Everyone on this forum needs to wake up and get with the reality: Romney is going to win the nomination. Obama is going to get a second term. Haven’t you people seen this scam enough yet to know it by now? None of the other guys are going to win. Oh yes, maybe, if ALL the others dropped out and we backed one of them, but since NONE of you agree who that would be, we won’t do that one thing now will we? No.
So, let us plan down ballot so we have a strong veto overriding Congress. Or we are really, really in deep.
I agree with you re: Sarah endorsing Cain. Whether she does or not, he is my first choice by far.
