Texas has one of the lowest tax burdens in the us and maintains billions in a rainy day fund.
It’s good that Texas has oil and has not banned it’s extraction like so many others.

Dream Act. Read about it. It makes illegals elligible for in-state tuition at texas universities and for grants, etc. Don’t forget the largest portion of uninsured in Texas hospitals are illegals. We all pay for that.
