See, that’s the problem. We Tea Party members need to be constantly working to take over the state Republican organizations. Our TP is doing just that. May take a few years, but that’s our goal. Our fearless TP leader has already become a member of the Executive Committee of the GOP, and I am attending their meetings (they said they were open). So we are learning how to take over. Please Freepers get on the inside where things can be changed.

Ditto - but then I saw they were “Republican Party donors” and it was held in Cleveland - so that means they are establishment RINO types I don’t know any of them that I’m aware of so it kinda makes sense. Thanks, that says a lot! We need to weed out the GOP!

The GOP has very little to do with it. It's the current ignorance of voters that is to blame. It's also how we got McNuts in ‘08.
While the base was ripping each others throats out over Thompson, Huckinschmuck and Hunter (with a few Paultards thrown in.) McCrazy slipped in through the moderate/independent back door.
This “conspiracy” insanity is getting old. (Again!)
