Has a political science professor ever been right about anything? That Larry Sabato guy out of Virginia is wrong so often you could probably predict things just by doing a 180 on his analysis. "No candidate" he says? Was President Reagan chopped liver, professor?

How would that affect Bachmann’s shot at the nomination in these early-voting states? Images of the Hindenburg come to mind...

If Palin doesn’t run, I will vote for Perry over Backmann or anyone else in the field right now. He has his problems, but he has come a long way in the last few years. Bachmann lost any support I might give her when she hired Ed Rollins.

Oy vey. Palin is my choice. If by some unfortunate turn of events she chooses not to run, I’ll have to carefully survey the field. Bachmann is not my second choice, because I don’t yet have a second choice.
