To me, she's the perfect candidate for the times we face. She's grounded and she's real. She understands middle America and the working class. She is an American success story. She is a Conservative. She has experience with and wants domestic oil exploration and production. She wants to reduce taxes and cut Government. She believes in the private sector and is a Capitalist. She has a rare quality of communicating directly with the voter. The Left hates her, the Media hates her and the Blue blood Republicans hate her. She is everything Obama will never be. Lastly, I believe she is dumb like a fox and is a brilliant politician.
The only way to verify what I believe is if she runs. If she doesn't, it's our Country's loss.
So what's not to like?
In the meantime, others more knowledgeable than you might discuss whether they think she is running or not, which is the subject of this thread.
Read Going Rogue, and you will realize that your suspicion is silly. Use your head. Sarah is like no one else in politics.
I’m sure she will try to be frugal, but I doubt money will be a problem. The size of the money bomb her campaign receives once she announces will be staggering.
I suspect (most of) those who’ve been maintaining that Sarah’s just in it for the money will admit they’re wrong when/if she announces her candidacy. But certainly not before then.
The only reason that I can think of to declare earlier is that many of the good activists get nervous and commit to someone else. They don’t want to be left w/o a job. My feeling, however, is that a lot of really solid people WILL come forward and work for Sarah anyway, and in ways that they would never think of toiling for anyone else. I surely hope that that turns out to be true. Bob
$100 dontation to sarahpac.com gets you ‘The Undefeated’ DVD.
My Dad’s gonna donate and we’re all going to my parents’ house one night for our own private ‘screening’ yeah baby!
Palin Ping!
We love her in Southern Utah and will do everything we can to get this very special woman elected.
Lightweights that continue to forget why we are conservatives and what Jim Robinson is all about just need to shut up and go away while the grownups do the necessary work.
His take kind of reminds me of your take. I don't see her One Nation Tour, her appearances at Tea Party rallies and her recent appearance in Iowa as cahin in. Rather, I see it as she's running and/or she's promoting the cause....getting rid of the Socialist in Chief. Either way, I can't understand your reasoning. She has made millions in the past couple of years and could remain making boat loads of money without leaving Alaska.
I think her motives are noble and your belief is inaccurate.
Also go to the movie website and vote to get it at a theatre near you!
Very insightful post. Quite interesting. Thanks.

I hope we can find a local showing, but there isn't enough info out yet. Getting a DVD like you are might be the thing to do, then we can share it with others.
I don’t know what she’s doing but I like the way she does it! ;-)
“What’s your take on this?”
Well, it certainly looks like she is going to run to me. However, a friend postulated an idea about this that could be plausible.
He thinks Sarah does not intend to run and is simply staying in public view to draw fire so the media won’t go after the persons that are running - like Bachman. She is doing a “selfless” act to protect others. She is messing with the press to keep them off balance so they cannot coordinate attacks against the real candidates.
I don’t think he is right about Palin not running. However, I think his assessment of her character and motivation to help/protect is not without merit. So, I am not dismissing his view. He could be right.
I choose movies well too. I have heard that Crowe is petitioning for a Master and Commander part II. I think we are watching that now though...
Good for Dad!
Oh, it’s clear Gov. Palin is running for President. The only question is in which election cycle? This one, or in a later one? She could play kingmaker in exchange for a cabinet post this time, then run in 2020 if the GOP win this time, or make a Senate run if the GOP lose, and run in 2016.
