Perhaps Reince Priebus, the new head of the Republican National Committee, has no choice but to pretend hes not worried about birther nonsense, which is proliferating like alien pods and threatening to take over the entire Republican Party. I dont think that its an issue that moves voters, he told a journalists roundtable this morning. He wishes that were true.
Last week, a New York Times poll showed that 45 percent of Republican voters thats nearly half, folks claim not to believe that Obama was born in the United States. And it doesnt stop there. As I wrote then, a Public Policy Poll shows that
"Only 38% of Republican primary voters say theyre willing to support a candidate for President next year who firmly rejects the birther theory and those folks want Mitt Romney to be their nominee for President next year. With the other 62% of Republicans- 23% of whom say they are only willing to vote for a birther and 39% of whom are not sure- Donald Trump is cleaning up...."

Cynthia you are such a tease.
More dreck from the Atlanta Urinal Constipation!
How about an indepth investigation into the issue? Oh, I forgot, there are probably many in DC who are terrified of the answers.
Cynthia Walker, author of this article, is a commie, pinko, leftist, socialiast, black, female and thus politically correct, piece of human dredge. Need I say more?
You are damn straight because many of them will face prison or the hangman for their crimes!
For the good of the country, we encourage President Obama to put an end to this ever growing controversy by showing his original long form birth certificate.
Thank You and God Bless America. Amen.
The “birther nonsense” is the left and their polls asking the wrong question. The question is: is Obama a natural born citizen as required by the constitution?
And you would be exactly correct about that characterization of her. You might consider adding, low class too.
How can you print anything by Cynthia Tucker, the poster girl for affirmative action, without a “barf alert?”
You could say the left is typified by stupidity.
Cynthia Tucker strikes again. She must be out of the cookie farm on a pass just long enough to file her column. LOL!!
Bingo! Didn't Obama say he was a "constitutional law professor?" He can easily and quickly put the question to rest - but he either will not or can not. Why not?
The reason that the establishment doesn’t like the birther issue is that it deals with taking the Constitution seriously and ultimately limits their power.
Trying to divide us.
It’s sticking on him like willie pete on a jihadi.
This particular long time wind bag leftist is indeed “that stupid”, egregiously so, based upon her many TV appearances, columns and other utterances. The purpose of having her on the Marxist team is to give the leftist masses something to tell themselves as the truth begins to seep through there soggy minds. No matter that it doesnt make sense and relies on lies.. it keeps their mob distracted and loyal.
Birther “nonsense”.
Yet we were told of “racist” and “violent” rhetoric coming from the Tea “Bagger” Party.
Shove your propaganda. Pravda means Truth.
