Question:

How many of you would trust Trump to keep his word if he were to get elected?

One of the things he said on Hennety, when asked about his donations to Schumer, Rahm Emmanuel and other democrats, is that he “gets along with everybody”. If you think McCain reaches “across the isle”, wait till Trump gets in there.

I actually like Trump as a businessman and his outspoken, unscripted comments on the issues. But I don’t believe he’s a principled conservative. He’s got an ego bigger than Obama and his number one priority is Trump.

Above all Trump likes to win. Riddle me this, would you prefer Obama or Trump to negotiate defense treaties with our adversaries? In his interview with “H” he talked about drilling for oil and the environment. His take was interesting, as was his take on Ryan's budget proposal as the opening volley in GOP/Presidential Budget negotiations. Also, regarding donations to the dems. New York like Chicago is dem controlled. I'll leave it at that.

We live in a Mobocracy, and he is a business man who does business in bastion of liberal politicians who are in practical terms gangsters. With so many rules and regulations business has to make tributes (aka donations) to these political gangsters in office if they ever hope to accomplish anything. The whole damned place is run out of Tammany Hall.

I respectfully disagree, but first to your latter statement - yes, DT has an ego (which I think is needed to win a Prez race, to lead in the most powerful office on earth against our enemies, and take us back to a position of respect and strength in the world. However, DT doesn’t exhibit the pathological narcissism that many shrinks agree BHO does.

About “reaching across the aisle” as you say - big difference, if you listened to his interview. He’s right that to make necessary, sweeping changes, it will take BOTH sides working together. But unlike McCain and his ilk, DT’s not a wimpy puss and won’t knuckle under to the Dems/Libs repeatedly - he sees the duty of President to be a leader in uniting factions and bringing them to the right outcome for the country. Being a uniter (ala Reagan) is needed, and quite different from being a sell-out (as so many of our “Republican” politicians currently are).

We are way to early to determine whether Trump is good enough or can be trusted. I just like to watch him make liberals respond to him.
