I just wish Romney would go away . . . I’m tired of his universal health care and pro-homosexual stand. Run for the democratic nomination, Romney. They’ll love you. Just go away. You gotta’ be the odds on favorite of the dummycrats for the stupid party’s top spot, but we’ve had enough of their choices . . . Dole . . . McLame . . .

Never cared much for Pawlenty. To me, he comes across as a slick talking RINO. I’m afraid that he would be one to say what he needs to say to get elected, and then turn out to be a RINO, making GW Bush look like a Reagan in comparison.
However, I saw him on TV this morning, and he had a dammed good command/grasp of ‘the issues’, and had a good conservative approach with his answers. Being it was in hostile territory on PMSNBC, it was a very good appearance for him.

I have no idea yet whom I will support for the nomination. I want someone who is conservative, competent, and electable.
Conservative: A "three-legged stool" conservative (fiscal, social, military), someone who "gets" and can articulate Tenth-Amendment federalism.
Competent: Someone who will govern effectively.
Electable: Someone who can appeal to enough voters "in the middle" so as to beat Obama in the general election.
Up to this point, none of the names mentioned "jumps out at me" as the obvious and outstanding choice on all of the above points. We'll see. That's why we have campaigns and primaries.

That scenario is so promising and exciting I’ll have to reach for my Prozac several times a day. Oh, the horror of having to choose just ONE!

I guess that means the end of the GOP.

My household will vote for none of the above mentioned but would consider Trump, Palin or a TBNL.

The Christian Science Monitor has become a pretty liberal publication. In actuality, it is just online and is no longer in print.
