The video touting the California Republican Party's incoming chairman boasts that he "has a new playbook to help us be proud to be Republicans again."
But what Tom Del Beccaro doesn't have as he maps out the party's comeback is a reserve of candidates with the appeal and credentials to be elected statewide.

Here is the real problem for the CRP:
Whites now make up only 40% of the states population and registered Republicans make up only 30% of the registered voters.
Hope it’s not borrowed from the Washington Generals.
From the comments they hate their Repubs out there at sac.bee They can own their Ca. nightmares from now on. Knowing the liberals they will enjoy it too in a twisted spin on it.
That is what I was afraid of, it is the first thing I think when a gop chairman makes this type of proclamation.
We need to let California fail. It is the only way to turn that state red again. They have to get educated.
Give up on it already. California is gone. Write it off. Any right thinking conservative Anmerican still residing in that state should be aggressively planning and carrying out an exit strategy. You have no legitimate future remaining there.
I know Tom. He is a good conservative, but I fear that CA is a lost cause.

Despite what some claim here, California has led some of the most significant charges in conservatism’s history.
The irrefutable demographic truth says that is now impossible.
