LITTLE ROCK, Ark. Were Mike Huckabee's recent gaffes enough to doom any presidential ambitions he still harbors? A calculated play for the Republican Party's base? Somewhere in between?
The former Arkansas governor, who won the Iowa caucuses in 2008 and is considering another White House run, had to walk back two widely reported comments he made in radio interviews last week during a national tour to promote his latest book. First he referred to President Barack Obama's boyhood in Kenya...

If Palin does NOT run... it will be because the republican party DOES NOT DESERVE HER. I HATE what the republican party has become... only slightly less than I hate the dim party... but then the repubics keep shifting to the left so who knows?

I seems to recall the First Lady _Obamas’ wife— speak in Kenya saying something about it being Obamas’ “home” SO
Huckabee’s gaffe is more acceptable. Besides there remains credible doubt that Hussein is a natural born citizen whose parents were both American citizen, qualified under US Law to confer citizenship-and credible question as to if Obama ever
renounced his foreign citizenship after his youth in Indonesia,as an adopted child of a citizen from Indonesia.
