Karl Rove Now Openly Mocking Palin…
Weasel Zippers ^ | February 28, 2011

Rove represents the worst of the elitist GOP establishment.

Via NY Mag

…One week before the 2010 midterm elections, Rove took aim at Sarah Palin, questioning the wisdom of her appearance on a reality show, Sarah Palin’s Alaska, if she really wanted to be taken seriously as a presidential candidate. Palin lacked the “gravitas” to be president, went a subhead in the U.K.’s Daily Telegraph.

Rove later tried wriggling out of his comments, as well as observations he made in a German magazine that tea-partiers weren’t “sophisticated,” being unfamiliar, as Rove was, with intellectuals like the economist Friedrich August von Hayek. But Rove’s backhands weren’t accidental, nor was he the victim of outrageous tabloid reporting. When I bring up his statements about Palin during our interview, Rove says only that he wished he’d made his comments on Fox News instead—before going into a withering impersonation of Palin, recalling a scene from her TV show in which she’s fishing.

“Did you see that?” he says, adopting a high, sniveling Palin accent: “‘Holy crap! That fish hit my thigh! It hurts!’”

“How does that make us comfortable seeing her in the Oval Office?” he asks, disgusted. “You know—‘Holy crap, Putin said something ugly!’”

His “pick” will lose, just as McCain did, but they’ll blame whoever the VP candidate is for the loss just like they did Palin. I don’t know what all this vented spleen about Palin has been for; she hasn’t even announced. Surely, though, even Mickey Mouse could beat Obama by the time unemployment reaches 12% and gasoline goes to $10 a gallon. Of course, they’ll cook the books before that time, and the MSM will bend over backwards for the “One” cause he’s their boy. racist? OK. That was the only word I could think of that worked there; but it ain’t racist.

People need to look at the policies of the Bush administration objectively, he was a liberal period. All this feeling sorry for this administration as they helped the progressives advance their agenda? Sorry these people are traitors to liberty.

And to this day they continue to attack the people who want to fix the problems and take this nation back.

Rove, Krauthammer, Perino, Wallace and other hacks will make it their mission to not allow a Palin like candidate to win in 2012. And if they get their candidate like a Romney, look for him to lay down for Obama just as Mccain did a couple of years ago.

Then, America will be lost forever.

My favorite von Mises book is Bureaucracy (1944). His most clearly written work, imo. But yes, Human Action is his magnum opus.

Did anyone know that Rove was divorced in 2009 and supposedly had a girlfriend lobbyist before the divorce. He is a tool as this article make plain. Conservatives need to shun him.

Castle couldn't defeat O'Donnell who couldn't defeat Coons.

Which proves my point--DE GOP voters lack judgement.

Divide and conquer is always a good strategy. The more surprising aspect of this is the number of supposedly good Freepers who buy into this obvious nonsensical effort by the Left!

A lot of the people complaining NOW about the debt under the Bush/GOP congress regime were probably the same ones THEN who toed the company line, that debt as a percentage of GDP was fine, that there are always deficits during war, blah blah blah.

The idiotic cheerleading and brainless following that took place, here and elsewhere, during those years is as much to blame as anything else. The voters, the supporters of the GOP, gave those people carte blanche, and they ran with it. Now, hungover and out of power, they blame the people THEY elected and supported.

So Rove single-handedly demolished O’Donnell’s chances. Either she was even weaker of a candidate than we think, or Rove is more of a mastermind than he’s being given credit for on this thread.

Rove needs to go read Reagan’s 11th Commandment.
He knows how to get the Establishmedia love.

Pray for America

Yeah, that’s the first thing I think when I see the circular firing squad forming up. These people are being played for suckers.

How can it be divide when it is the Roves of the world attacking our most conservative candidates?

They are the dividers and just look at their policies that lead to Obama.

Don’t think for a second that the ex Bush people will do anything in their power to make sure a Palin will never be president.

They would rather have four more years of Obama than a conservative who would roll back their globalist agenda.

Go listen to Bush 41 and Kissinger if you think this stuff is crap.

Americans are finding out what they meant back then and today when they speak to a new international order.

Which is why they attack Palin because she stands for an independent and strong America.

Rove and Bush are liberals so we are not dividing we are uniting against liberalism and radical marxism in both parties.

That would be the guy in charge of campaign ads, who had previously been touted as a genius because of his ‘Demon Sheep’ ads for Carly Fiorina earlier in the year.

Karl Rove is an operative for the global government ...

People have to understand that Rove and the Bush people would rather have Obama in office then someone like Palin.

Absolutely correct.

It is not simply about the personal aspect of Karl Rove, it is rather the elitist global establishment, DC Republican as well as Democrat. Obama was "planned" just as certainly as John McCain was his planned red herring opponent, and the CFR organizes our politics.

The fact is the federal government of the United States could be dismantled to 60% of its current inflated structure and we would all prosper. That is why "they" hate Sarah Palin, and Christine O'donnell too; they are a threat to show just how non-essential the federal authority and elitist power brokers are.

Those who automatically and unconsciously subscribe to the sanctity of the federal government are the problem, regardless of either two party association. Think about the recent decades of federal decisions (including GWB): Obama?? ObamaCare?? Kelo Decision?? Amnesty for illegal invaders?? Homeland Security?? federalization of education?? farm bills?? affirmative action bigotry for privileged races?? domestic energy denial??

We could have taxi drivers as Senators with a better more conservative record of values and plans for US citizens than exists now.

Thus the Tea Party.

I seem to remember a guy who made a movie with a chimp as his co-star. Didn’t seem to hurt his political career - he was loved by the people because of what he stood for. Sarah is cut from the same cloth.

So is America. :^)

Which proves my point--DE GOP voters lack judgement.

The first big mistake was made by Castle you went from a 60% conservative voter to about a 25% conservative voter over the last five years.

Clearly a bridge too far, in a Republican primary, during a conservative swing.

So Rove single-handedly demolished O’Donnell’s chances.

He singlehandedly did significant harm to her campaign on what should have been a positive night for her. Any conservative would have a tough fight to win in liberal Delaware, and backstabbing from a prominent member of a candidate's own party makes things even tougher.

Rove is a jerk mostly out for himself, and not a team player as he demonstrates with his periodic trashing of Republicans who are not among his favored individuals. And he is a political operative who should not be put on Fox as an analyst or commentator. He always has a personal agenda.
