As LBJ said, “The more I give these N....s. The more they love me”. Did that make LBJ great? NO It does not make Obama great either.
Boss Hogg ain’t got a prayer. If he were running a few years ago, maybe. But times have changed. He is a good governor, great RNC chair, but his inside the beltway lobbing type is not popular these days. And frankly, not needed. We have enough of his type already in Washington.
Wrong superlative, s/b most deceptive.
This is like a Southerner saying “bless his heart.”
It’s a jab at Obama wrapped in false compliments. Obama is not supporting the work of Walker in Wisconsin. He is supporting the unions. But he has to hide that support because he lost in public opinion polls when he went out acting and talking like a radical community organizer.
So now he is silent and Barber is assigning that silence to Obama’s support of budget cuts which Obama “knows has to be done.” He’s such a smart politican...yeah.
Being a “great politician” is like puking on your shoes.
Not something to be very proud of.
Where the hell is the barf alert!!?? Doing some deep breathing at this time.
What an idiot...Barbour must know the Kenyan would be NOWHERE without his war room of MSM/DNC/Hollywood/Academia.
Why do Republicans feel the need to get on TV and lie to the public about Obama and his goals?
He said he’s a ‘great politician,’ not a great leader. It would take a super duper great politician to go from a total unknown community organizer to president of the (formerly) most powerful nation on Earth. If you took that as a compliment from Barbour, you might want to rethink that.
It’s an insult of the greatest order! He’s saying Obama is a lying reptile with absolutely no substance to support him...and he’s correct.
I have to agree...he’s a great politician...but a politician is not what I want to see in the White House...I want a statesman...and the big “O” has no idea how to be one.
Let me give you a hint Obama...cut the parties, vacations, the midnight run to the Ice Cream store, prioritize your schedule on what’s best for this country...not you...pick up the damn phone at 3:00am and do something!
That’s a premature compliment for a guy who was the lucky beneficary of a perfect political storm. Let’s see where he is two years from now having lost his comfortable majorities in both houses of Congress. Obama has turned this country into an economic basket case, caused catastrophic unemployment, strangled our oil supplies, spent us into oblivion, polarized the population, weakened the military, and allowed a revival of inflation. Against that backdrop, “the greatest politican” will be lucky to get the nomination of his party, much less carry any significant number of states.
Nice to see early on who we will not be supporting or voting for.keep this up, we need more of these idiots opening up thier mouths so we can cut the list down and clear the field of dung
If I was Gov. Haley Barbour I’d say: “My, he sure can dance. He dances like a smiling chipmunk... yes, reform has to come soon.”
Being called a great politician is no compliment and I’m sure no compliment was intended.
Some of my relatives and other people I know have been taken in by Obama, and they STILL LIKE HIM.
I could see right through Obama from Day 1, but others can’t. He must be a great politician to get so many people to vote for him.
I read the gushing stuff my adult nephew says about him and Planned Parenthood on Facebook, and it’s discouraging.
He's so dangerously overweight now that two months on the stump and creamed-chicken circuit would kill him.
He likes to stay in the limelight, though.....but his immediate problem is he just can't keep his southern-fried lips locked.

Barbour was on target. Politician and great American President are not the same thing
