The (Wisconsin) Senate voted 19-0 to repeal requirements that law enforcement collect data from traffic stops in an attempt to ascertain whether there is any racial profiling going on.
The bill also repeals a requirement that law enforcement academies train recruits on avoiding racial profiling.
Sen. Mary Lazich said the mandate, included in the 2009-11 state budget by Dems, said she heard from small and large communities about the difficulties imposed upon them through the legislation.
"It's a huge, huge burden on our law enforcement community," she said.

Nice to see the Wisconsin state Senate is doing the people's bizness while their Democrat aka "Flee Party" colleagues are lazing around the hotel pools of northern Illinois. Here's one less stupid law for Wisconsin law enforcement to have to deal with, let's hope they keep busy implementing other common-sense legislation while the rats are away.

Profiling, racial and otherwise, is the most powerful weapon the police have in their arsenal of weapons to prevent and investigate crime, followed by the guns on their hip.

OK so we now have the solution to the nations problems. Just send all the Democrats to Illinois. Wisconsin and Indiana already have. And its not like we are likely to notice a few more around here. So Illinois would be a write off, but the rest of the country would be doing great.
We could get a new state motto.
Illinois the hefty bag state.

I wonder what’s so conservative, that they’d only get 10 republicans votes for.

A similar “anti-profiling” bill was supposed to be Obama’s “signature” piece of legislation in IL (for which he stole credit).

Whenever I hear about kids being arrested for drawing stick figures, or making a ‘gun’ with their fingers, etc., I wonder if the ‘perp’ is white, and if so, is this to even the racial arrest or suspension/expulsion numbers.
