What part of this open letter is open because Vickery wants to associate his name with hers? Seems to me his stated interests would have been better served with a phone call or actual letter, if not a face to face meeting to talk to her about what he writes here.

Sadly the author hasn't the capacity to look backwards as well as forwards, and adjust his views of the world based upon results and experiences.
This is an author, who, when the last global warmist is finally ridiculed from the public square, will not use that as a chastening lesson to himself about being a dupe to leftist causes. He won't examine all that he was prepared to sacrifice of himself and others- simply because he was too suggestible and controllable.
