I think its the opposite. I wouldn’t trust a word the Boston Globe says. If anything they are trying to alienate the base further away from Romney (if thats possible.) Never trust the Globe it ALWAYS has an agenda.
He went into hiding during the Giffords/Palin nonsense, and he’s in hiding now from any connection to the Tea Party, without actually coming out and denouncing it. All the better to embrace it if he finds it necessary.

Am I wrong in recalling that, as head of the SLC Winter Olympics committee, he ruled that the U.S. flag not be displayed, a decision later rescinded in the face of vocal outrage?
