Trenton-Gov. Chris Christie said Thursday that one of his seven nominees for Superior Court judgeships would be a lawyer who represented many detainees swept up by the government in the post-9/11 dragnet.
The lawyer, Sohail Mohammed, worked in the aftermath of the attacks to try to foster trust between American Muslims and law enforcement, particularly federal officials. He is a board member of the American Muslim Union. Mr. Christie, a United States attorney, was a regular guest at that group’s annual Ramadan dinner and spoke highly of Mr. Mohammed’s work....

If Christie does this, and based on his views of the 9-11 Mosque, illegal aliens, the Second Amendment, endrosement of Castel in Delaware, the departure of Jay Webber, a real conservative, from the State GOP Chairmanship, this bloated bag of air will have revealed himself for precisely what he is - a big fat RINO with a fiscally conservative streak.

Powerful, isn’t it? I had the honor and pleasure in ‘08 of meeting and hearing Brigitte Gabriel and, although I’d been a growing fan and knew her story (much of it related in your post), watching/hearing her tell it in person brought tears to my eyes. She’s long been a much respected authority on the subject of Islam; world leaders and military have consulted with her on it.
We have GOT to wake up in this country and take it from one
(like her) who really knows. Political correctness be damned. I pray for us to have a new leader who has the knowledge and understanding of this extreme threat and the courage to deal with it, with NO hidden agenda (unlike the current White House occupier). Millions of Americans would stand behind such a leader/President, and indeed are hungering for that.

Wow, excuuuuuuuuuuse me! Not sure why I ticked you off, but you don’t know me or whom I know or don’t know. And while I’ve sometimes been misguided in the past, ignorant I am not.
I simply meant regarding CC that he may not have really studied Muhammad and Islam or its teachings and is therefore ignorant of the ultimate, intentional threat it poses to all “Infidels”. If that’s the case, then, in wanting to show tolerance and outreach, he’s misguided.
I merely gave him the benefit of the doubt.

For me, just the 2nd Amendment ignorance is enough to disqualify him. One strike there and he's out.

Christie actually supported having the mosque built at Ground Zero. That’s when I first knew he was not our guy.
I love his opposition to the unions and his handling of the economic health of NJ. He rocks on that score.
I’d love to hear something else good that he’s done...that he believes.
