Herein lies a big part of the problem. Average idiots put a socialist America-hater in the White House. Regardless of what Sarah does, or what the outcome, she will put a BIG spotlight on the RINO candidates and she will raise the bar on the conservative standard of those candidates. And that will happen if she runs in the primary or not. She is that good.

With all due respect, he did not say we are going to be stuck with socialism or worse, he just thinks Palin can’t win. Maybe he thinks another candidate can win.

That may or may not be true. That depends on what kind of campaign she runs and if she can win people who aren’t already fans of hers.

Yes, I suspect that the same forces that had Romney throw the 2008 primary to McCain in the first 5 minutes are at work here. Start with the states that went for McCain. Add a bunch of midwest states and Florida that have since gone red. She'd make quite a race of it, just on the surface.

Put her undisputed energy expertise up against obama and five dollar gas, and watch the fun begin.
