Faced with the prospect of a President Sarah Palin, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, the Republican party’s darling from another coast, shook his head and rolled his eyes.
“I don’t know, but it’s an amazing world,” he said to Jimmy Fallon during a taping of Tuesday’s Late Night show.
Christie brought his sharp tongue to the talk show Tuesday after the two traded barbs over Twitter when the Republican governor canceled a long-planned Hudson River train tunnel.
Fallon had joked that New Yorkers would now have to get to New Jersey as they usually do — by accident.
“You think it’s funny, Jimmy?” Christie challenged Fallon on the show, which airs at 12:35 a.m. “You know what we do to people like that in Jersey?”
Christie, known by Trenton insiders for his wit and occasionally foul language, turned serious and said New Jersey shouldn’t have to pay for the tunnel while New York stands idly by.
“There’s nothing New Jersey hates more than getting screwed by New York,” he said....

Is it ok to like Sarah Palin and have sympathy for her while still believing that McCain seriously damaged her reputation by desperately using her to juice his own campaign when she wasn’t ready for the national spotlight/MSM vultures? Can I appreciate her charm/biography and still wish she wasn’t so easily caricatured as a nitwit extremist by our enemies? Can I like her “regular” family and still wish her daughter would stay out of the tabloids and away from stupid reality shows and white trash like Levi?
We don’t need “any Republican” such as Myth, Gomer, Tiny Tim and that ilk. We need someone who could be a 21st Century Reagan, Coolidge or Washington.
RINO rolls eyes as a tea partier, Sarah Palin, looks to run for president....what else would we expect?

Lately, it has become fashionable among conservatives and Republicans nationwide to lavish effusive praise and encomiums upon Governor Chris Christie as the “Conservative Savior” of New Jersey - and this trend has begun to mushroom into a fervent cult of pseudo-personality that is already calling for him to throw his hat into the 2012 Presidential campaign ring.
Myth #1: Chris Christie opposes the re-distribution of wealth in New Jersey and balanced the budget without gimmicks or tax increases.
Here are the facts: a truly conservative Republican staunchly opposes any and every policy that redistributes wealth from those who create it to those who do not. While there are many redistributive policies that, practically speaking, can only be dismantled with great difficulty over a great length of time, some can be addressed with dispatch - Abbott Districts and COAH are two that come immediately to mind - especially if the Republican Governor in question has the power of a line item veto, which is precisely the case in New Jersey.
I live in NY and have been following him for years - he is the real deal.
I would vote for him for any office at any level in a heartbeat.
Of course I like Sarah, but she is not the end all and be all.

We still don't know exactly what Christie is or isn't. He seems to be a fiscal bear. I'm not going to characterize him as a Rockefeller RINO just yet, nor climb all over his s*** just for rolling his eyeballs over question regarding a Palin candidacy.

I've criticized Palin when she endorsed McCain, I criticized her for saying that illegals should register and I've said that she has a voice problem.
Nobody has ever called me an Obama supporter, a Romney supporter or a DU troll.

It depends on the criticism that ppl used against Palin. If they use the left wing lies, then you’re going to get a fight. Palin is great on the fiscal side as well.
As for the baggage. It depends how big you want to make an issue out of it. Apparently Joe Miller baggage was that he voted multiple times on an online poll, Or Cristie O’donnel she dabbled in witchcrath while in highschool, but if you don’t pay your taxes by $1million, misuse fund, corrupt then thats not a baggage if you’re a democrat. Obama had TONNES of baggage, but media never made a big deal out of it
I’ll take your word for it. And I prefer to see conservatives united. (Palin put in a good word for Christie in her Dennis Miller interview.)
But help me understand Christie’s position on the 911 mosque.
