It was setting up for anti-Palin RINO’s to say, “Palin can’t win in the general election.”
They wanted to check the surge of the true conservatives who are going to take over the Republican Party over the next few years.
I agree; just like they sunk some others. They don’t want to give up their gravy train.

We need to target those rinos for defeat in the next election and ignore the balding oaf rove.Demint is the man of the hour and Palin is the woman.
Yes, they threw Christine under the bus big-time. Now I don’t care what anyone says about Christine, that she ran twice before and lost or was too conservative - the fact of the matter is that she won the primary election fair and square - that means you either get behind her regardless or you don’t run your mouth off about her behind her back to the liberal news media.

I think that since Delaware is such a blue state , the voters just ignored her extensive resume.

DeMint sees the way the party is moving and has decided that the party elite are going the way of the Whigs.
