Wow. Sarah Palin’s fingerprints are all over so many election races. She is in the Democrats’ noggins and she’s firing on all cylinders.
I think she’s in perfect position: her resignation taught Americans she is not following the old party rules. Her continued use of other-media to reach people and state her opinions has taught them that she sees our problems clearly and has faith in American common sense. People are ready for a big change and are sick of politics as usual— and Sarah Palin has shown them she is not playing politics the usual way. Come 2012, America will be looking for an innovator to help solve our problems. Who better than a feisty maverick who is just like us?
You’re right. Nobody comes close to her.
The polls are crap in Alaska. Most people I talk to don’t answer them, and I know all of them are supporting Joe Miller.
Yeah, the wench really stepped in it last night. Her piss and venom really showed and it didn’t sit too well.
Maybe he just believes he already beat her?
There's a Murkowski ad on the radio up here that has some guy come on and say, "I'm a lifelong democrat, but this time, I'm voting for Lisa Murkowski!" That's all I've been able to stomach. Can't get past the opening line.
A state can't enforce federal laws. But, by incorporating the same tenets and structure of federal law into a state law, the state can enforce its local version.
The problem is that the state - the entity inflicted by the non-enforcement - cannot ensure that the feds do their job. Murkowski is right (in that the right solution is for the feds to enforce federal law) - but I fail to see what she has done to force proper enforcement of the law as a Senator, either.
The Arizona law is just another case of "if you want something done right..."
I don't remember if Sarah mentioned the harassment that Joe is going through; a weaker man would fold. Murkowski’s father appointed this man to be a state justice; the justice retired; but now he has issued an order that all of Joe's records be opened to the public. I fail to understand how a RETIRED judge can order that and it be carried out.
I'm hoping that Joe Miller and Allen West both get in. They will stir up the status quo in Washington, or would that be considered “double teaming”? ;-)
Obviously, that retired judge is in senior Murky’s pocket and I don’t understand how he can issue such an order either. I’ve been too busy to look into this, but I have faith that Joe Miller and his team know the law.
The voters in Alaska will have the conservative common sense to elect Joe Miller over this sore loser and completely crooked, spoiled, middle-aged BRAT.
I don't see the Indians being a huge bonus to Murkowski. They trust their Native leadership living like White People in Fairbanks about as much as they trust White People themselves.
I see the media & old Repub guard doing everything they can to discredit Joe Miller. It's so bizarre almost unbelievable; yet I do believe most Alaskans see it for what it is; crooked politics.
I don't believe the pollsters or anything said in newspapers or on TV.
I do believe Alaskans are fed up with Lisa's antics and corruption. They know what we face as a country and know Joe Miller will do his part to stop the out of control borrow & spend politics.
I can't see a LIsa win from my window of Alaska.
My faith in your judgment of your good conservative friends and instincts remain intact. I cannot envision that horrid, spoiled, middle-aged brat, pulling out a win, in the race she already lost. Certainly voters are smarter than *that*.
If anyone deserves to lose an election, it is Lisa MurCOWsky.
what a POS this Lisa M. really is..... she didn’t “ask” a real question at all — she just engaged in a rant designed to smear Miller — she’s not worthy to shine his boots
why is a flippin’ write-in candidate allowed in a debate anyway???? if the roles were reversed no way in Hades would a “Tea Party” candidate who was not the official R. nominee be allowed in this debate — but Murky, who LOST the primary and is NOT the nominee, is allowed unearned status and publicity by being invited to this debate
“...no way in Hades would a Tea Party candidate who was not the official R. nominee be allowed in this debate.”
Correct. Here in Washington State, Clint Didier lost the nomination to Dino Rossi. Didier tried to stay current by demanding to be included in Rossi’s plans. While I voted for Didier, his ranting after being voted off the ballot seemed like a sore-loser type thing to do. He may have wanted to be included in forums, debates etc. - but I’m not so sure. But yes- will not be written off (with the media’s and the party’s help) as a extreme right nutjob. (Which is isn’t.)
I have no kind words for her. None.
I do have kind words for you 2ndDV, thanks for all the posting of stories that you do. If it weren’t for you I wouldn’t be able to keep up nowadays.
Of course by “her” I mean Murkowski. I think had I been in the audience I would have been tempted to slap her. Hussy.
I would guess that the reason is she’s a force in opinion polls. Looks like she could possibly (unfortunately) win. I still don’t want to gave a monopoly to the Republocrats.
