Former President Bill Clinton and ex-Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin are lining up on opposite sides in West Virginia's Senate race, a key contest that could determine control of the Senate in the November election.

Clinton spent Monday in West Virginia, hoping to boost Democratic Gov. Joe Manchin's campaign as it struggles against wealthy Republican businessman John Raese. Again, notice that she is placed on the same level as a former president even by her enemies in the media? They can't help themselves.

Yes, though they attribute Clinton’s motivation to wanting to help his candidate; Palin’s to wanting to demonstrate her clout.

"The last thing Washington, D.C., needs is another rubber-stamp vote for President Obama and the liberal agenda."

Well, the boys gotta hang together. Wonder how much clout Clinton really has - perhaps more should voice opinions like that stated by Paul in Kentucky this week? Perhaps if more would begin to undermine Bill, would cut into some influence he might wield if Hillary chooses to run again. Just a thought.

Clinton is Wealthy. Why don't they refer to him that way, or is the term “wealthy” just used to describe the mean Republican?

Got it...

That's it then - Raese is a shoe-in!

That was the first thing that caught my attention. The AP can’t help themselves.

Class warfare, race warfare, sex warfare, it never ends.

Also did you catch the former President and ex-governor. Why not former governor or ex-president?

Clinton was campaigning for Conway - Paul’s oponent - and Paul responded by questioning the acceptance of the opinion of someone who had sex with an intern while they were serving in the White House. Opinions on FR pretty well split on whether he should have responded in this way. Clinton is touted as one of the most popular among politicians so not sure if any of this will stick.

Thanks. I’ve not lived in the state but it seems a laser focus on the issues would be more valuable. Still, it’s at least something less than a ‘full Paladino’ comment.
