Give me Bolton.
I have to say there are many similarities and also many differences. I think she has what it takes but only time will tell. The left saw this potential way before many on the right, this is evidenced by the brutality of the attacks against her. Yet, she has weathered the storm so far and is still fighting. The attacks have taken their toll, but she is not politically dead, not even close. We will see.
“Is Sarah Palin the Second Coming of Ronald Reagan?”
In a word, YES!!! :-)
Its unfair to Sarah Palin to call her a “second coming” of Reagan. Reagan, himself, wasn’t even the first coming of today’s romanticisized Reagan, much as I loved his presidency in so many ways. Reagan did raise taxes and grant amnesty to illegals, after all.
Reagan is my favorite President EVER and came into voting age and he was the first I ever cast a vote for. She may not be the second Reagan, but better than anything else that has come along since 1988 for the GOP on a national ticket level and I do like GWB but didn’t always agree with him, for me, he was too liberal. :)
As I’ve said before of others, Ronald Reagan is ultimately irreplaceable, but Sarah Palin is about as worthy a predecessor as I’ve seen in a while.
Michael Reagan thought so. I do too. But look at the quote they are using ... that’s a whole bunch of “reading into” going on there. Typical way folks deal with all things Sarah.
Successor. Can we get an “edit” function up in here?
OMG! LOST, again?! Do you PDS folks take turns on thesed threads, or what?!
In two, ‘hell no’.
Good catch.
So you pinged a few folks to the thread that weren't otherwise aware of it? ;-)
PDS = Palin Deification Syndrome? Making a Saint of her?
That’s up to the Pope. I just want to make her chief magistrate of the United States of America and Commander-in-Chief of it’s Armed Forces. Watch me as I raise $2 million dollars to that end
Without question, Palin has been the most inspirational, and influential conservative leader since President Reagan.
So of course.
I think a few people mistake the question by thinking it means someone that is a carbon copy of the man himself, rather than of the leadership and conservative influence that he provided for America.
In Three, Hell Yes!
